thats correct - guide comes out in the Age and online on Friday 4th March. You'll have to wait till then I'm afraid... unless... Come see our darling Nicko with her mate and consummate UK comic Silky, in their show 'Appetite for Distraction' - The Green Room @ 7pm Tues-Sat during the festival. The Green Room is 33 Elizabeth St, Melbourne (opposite Coles). Anyone else fancy plugging their show?

Ooh. Me! Except it's not my show... Julia Wilson - Not My Rules "Not my rules" is an amazingly funny hour of stand-up comedy observing how society sets bundles of rules that aren't actually written down anywhere but are observed by most... except of course for the fabulous Julia Wilson. She didn't write the rules so she doesn’t feel the need to follow them. Convent schoolgirls don't become bouncers, bouncers don't become accountants & accountants don't become stand-up comics. Join Julia for a hilarious journey of storytelling that will make you wonder why everyone isn't writing their own rules. Life sounds so much fun her way. WARNING: Fun isn't always clean and neither is she. Dig in Australia, she's been touring the world & she's coming home to tell you about it! You'll leave with a shirt full of sore ribs & a new outlook on life. Other details to come.

I suggest a MOSH meet in a very public place. Somewhere like the Botanic Gardens. Or Fed Square. Or the cathedral on the cnr of Swanston and Flinders (I forget which one's which). And no dressing up. ![]() Oh, and to the newbs who are a bit concerned about meeting MOSHers, I suggest just saying hi, cos there are some of us who are very very good at working out who MOSHers are *looks at SR* Last edited by smuffy; 06-01-2005 at 02:43 PM.

I'll be at MICF 8-17 April (last week or so). It's double the time I spent there last year mainly because this year I'm planning ahead and trying to make up for previous years. Last year's attendance was pure spur-of-the-moment for about 4 or 5 days. And I tried to go in 2003 but was trapped working in Alice Springs for the entire duration. Several years before that was spent in the UK. Addit: It would be helpful if I actually spelt his name right: it's Brigstocke. Last edited by awaywithfairies; 06-01-2005 at 05:36 PM.

I'll be at comfest during the last weekend. If I'm lucky, my uni timetable will allow me to get to Melbourne on the Wednesday or Thursday, but in the very least I'll be able to get in three nights of shows.
