I don't remember much about that trip, i was rather out of it, but in my defence, scod made me do it.

I'm not over Tripod - but their theme shows are so below par compared to their normal shows. Thought their show last year was them at the top of their game - so am really disappointed to hear that it's Lady Robots - again.

But not a real green dress - that's cruel

Over TRIPOD?????

Spose it's possible, it is Lady Robots AGAIN, but it's pretty damn awesome...I prefer the narrative variety of 3pod shows, but there's a few newer songs that would have been good to hear again (Lingering Dad etc.).

A caberet show as well as lady robots (like they did at the Adelaide Fringe last year) would go down well i reckon...

3 Way Action last year ....I heard those songs about 6 times in one month.......

Hardly Tripod's fault if you see them 6 times in a month. I'm definitely hanging out for a cabaret show - bring on Stagetime.

I'm halfway between happy and annoyed - being that I've seen lady robots from it's first show ever, 4 times or something, and it's slowly morphed over the years but if it's the same plot just done differently, then why do it?

anyway. I'm sure it'll be good, and i'll be there no matter what.

I won't book into syd or melb or whatever cos I honestly don't know where the hell I'll be.

i was more disappointed than I've ever been at tripod's 2003 comfest show, but last year was brilliant, still, not much new stuff. I just don't get why they're re-hashing on a show that they've already toured with - people are going to think it's the same show and possibly not go!

Also, they should've just chucked fat gloves right out of the new version (or not so new version, i guess) of lady robots. it was weird and out of place....

Aren't Tripod meant to be on in Stagetime soon? I got an email telling me that, but I deleted it, so I'm not sure where it came from.

I'd love to be in the Big Group, but I'm flying out on the 12th. Well, the plane's flying, I'll just be annoying people who are scared of flying. Last time I said to the guy next to me, (we were at the back) "Don't worry, when there's an accident they normally find the tail end first". Heh heh heh.

I too thought 2002 wasn't that good. Had taken a few Tripod virgins along - and they weren't that impressed either - hard to convert others to your obsessions in that situation.

I don't mind quality songs being performed over and over - I would expect to hear back-catalogue at any other gig - don't really see any difference. Feel ripped off if I don't get to see Shandy or Cuckold live every so often.

Well I was hoping to make it on that day anyway, so if the group thing is a go then count me in!

According to the Ticketmaster website

The Sunday 10 and 17 shows are on at 5:00 pm. So if anyone wants/is intending to go to both, you'd better decide which one you will go to. It also appears to be allocated seating in Athenaeum 1.

Gee I am so glad I brought up this idea.

I guess from the response I am getting that no one wants to go.
