Does it ruin the purpose of priority being given to subscribers if you tell everyone?

Anyways, I've seen the Gala on TV, can anyone tell me if it's worth spending that much to go in person? (It doesn't seem like it, is all)

I've been to it a few times, and I'd say that in general, it's worth it. Especially at the Regent. It's a great venue, and if they have Brian Nankervis doing the warm-up, you'll have a good game or two to play as well. However, if some of the comedians shit you, and no-one does anything spectacularly good, you feel a bit jibbed. Go with a group of people, and you'll have a blast. Oh, and dress swanky. It's fun. I'd go, but Bill Bailey is on across the street at the same time.
