Brisbane dates for the roadshow have sold out.

Apparently Stewart Lee is no longer coming to Hobart. Rumour has him replaced by Tony Law. $5 says he can't help but put the mike in his mouth. Other people have to use that, Tony!

And I've just discovered from the local paper, The Border Mail, that Tim's doing the Albury show in a couple of days' time. Which is making me even more upset that I can't go. Stoopid work.

I wonder if I can suggest a special extra show at the local hospital just for me. It's just up the road from the Performing Arts Centre and I'll even personally break into the chapel so Tim can get access to a piano!

As mentioned a few times before, Roadshow was meant to be coming to Toowoomba on the 18th of May... the date has been and gone and there was no show. On double-checking the MICF website again, the list of venues seems to have been revised, and Toowoomba was not on the list anymore. Oh well, maybe next year!

Anybody else at the Hobart show last night? It was such a case of spot-the-comic - I was sitting just in front of Mick Lowenstein, just behind Andy Muirhead who was just behind Ben Payne. There were a couple of chicks next to me who kept going, "Oh we know you! You're on the telly!", it was a little bit freaky.

Caught roadshow, tim minchin was by far the best, I wouldn't have put him first in the set though. I swear I saw charlie smoking, but I could have sworn in his show 'better man' he prided himself on quiting somking. I'm not a fan of tony laws, no matter how many times he sticks the mic in his gob, it aint gonna be funny, the best part of his act was when the mic stoped working, that's the hardest I've ever laughed in his audience and even that was quite tame. Kitty flanagan was good, although I've never seen her perform before I knew most of her routine by heart, if anyone knows where I picked this up please share. And justin told his acid trip story, I love that.

I saw it on Monday. Tim did an encore of falling off the stage. V. funny.

But, horror of horrors, I found someone who thinks that Tim was "shit" and "not funny". So I bludgeoned her to death before the sentiment could spread.

Every single comedian said something about it being cold. Hello? Tassie, winter. It happens. I think they only put Tony on last because no-one wanted to use the mike after he did.
