Would that be The Wee Room? *g* Saw the sign to that last night, and was puzzled by it. Bugger to get to, normally the Supper Room's as high as it gets, and that's bad enough, this one's at least one more flight on top of that.

yep that's the one. it's like being in a bell tower. don't let that deter you from the show though.

Damien kicks ass. I'm gonna move heaven & earth to try and see his show even though it clashes with mine. Might have to see it on the 10th.
Damian also appeared with me at 'Dark Jester', the gothic night of comedy. He kicked ass there as well. He's got the gothic dark seal of approval!

My pick so far is Andy McClelland and Lawrence Leung. Odtriple and I went to see them on Saturday, and they were wonderful. Other shows I'd heartily recommend are Justin Hamilton, Damian Clark and Charlie Pickering. Maria Bamford, Arj Barker and 'Die on your Feet' were pretty good as well. I'll admit to being a tad disappointed with Bill Bailey.

Yep, saw it last night - maybe a little slow and repetitive to begin with, but overall very funny. Very silly and very funny.

I highly recommend Rebecca de Unamuno's show. I saw her last night and she was awesome.

Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

erm, just to clarify, that's what the age said about us, not what we said about our plans.

A pictoral essay- (the MC, Tim Harris) (to GM for Johnny Dragonslayer) (previous two for Damien Lawlor's wombat story) - in general -

It was absolutely fantastic. Really. Best ensemble I've seen all Festival (and I am including Festival Club). I may have been the only one in the room who understood the MC's first three minutes, but I didn't have a problem with that. I didn't get some of the local references, but I do know the type of people they were describing, so all was not lost. Michael Chamberlin looked a bit out of place, but you know it's a tops night when the least successful comedian is Michael. I got back at to my lovely lodgings at about 8am. 'Twas a good night.

Mike Wilmot, Mike Wilmot and, I cannot say it enough, people, Mike Wilmot.

Provided you're not easily offended and don't sit in the front row or two *g*

I'd also highly recommend Nicko and Silky. So good I plan to go at least once more *g*

I'm also looking forward to checking out Jason Byrne, on the basis of what I've seen from him so far.

The info. booth is recommending Keating: The Musical.

Bedroom Philosopher was very funny, esp. because he had a few technical problems the night we went, and still managed to keep going. Wilson Dixon Hour, Josh Earl, Umbilical Bros., all recommended by me.
