MICF Trial Show Sun Mar 20

Dear Everyone,

Y'all are invited to attend a trial show of the 2005 Comedy Zone this Sunday, March 20. Show is 4pm in the Melbourne CBD. Here's what to do:

1. Email toby@comedyfestival.com.au with your request for tix.
2. Wait for an emailed confirmation back. All tix will be confirmed before 10am on Sunday.
3. The show will be held at a licensed venue. If you're under 18 you have to be accompanied by your legal guardian.
4. Your tix are not confirmed until you get your confirmation email.

(NB: Conveniently scheduled to fit in neatly just before the VIC State Final of Raw Comedy, compered by Matt King.)

What shows are gonna be trialed? Who's gonna be on? How do I know I want tix if I don't know who's on?

I probably will go see this anyway as it's on my second last day in Melbourne, plus I wanna check out that RAW heat. Saw the semi final the other night - wish I had got there at the start of the night (since when do comedy shows begin at 7:30?). There was some pretty good talent, especailly that last guy who was on (Fox Kay or something) he was incredible. Can't wait to see the acts from the other semi and the guys whose set I missed last night.

A little birdy tells me there's a Tripod trial show that night - but Tripod are doing Lady Robots 1.1, surely 1.0 was enough of a trial? Tripod are Self-Saucing is the alleged title, maybe they're practising their next non-story-based show?

'Fuck off, it's meese.'
Ressentez la peur et faites-le quand même.
Je n'ai qu'une seule ride, et je suis assise dessus.

Yep, according to the email sent out by the nice token-like people, Tripod are previewing some new songs for the show of the above name - which is a caberet style.

I would think they'd be some of the ones that were heard at the last stagetime they did - Lingering dad and so on..
