Annnnnddddd things take FOREVER to be posted out to me from the madman site!!!! My Angry Eddie CD has been "invoiced and despatched" for over a week now........ i'm so impatient.... i'm obsessively waiting for the postman everyday... it's quite scary. (Our post doesn't arrive till 1pm either, so my pain is prolonged throughout the morning!!)

At his London gig, Eddie made a comment about how we could order the CD off the site and it'd get to us "just before we die". I thought he was joking.

I guess I won't end up with the Laughapoolooza thing till like 2008 or whatever. *selfpitying sob*

And yeh, I ditto Lily's "pfft" at it taking a YEAR to do. What, are they hand crafting each DVD, one by one??!!*

*dear laughing stock/madman entertainment... please do not take my silly little jests as reason to put me on some sort of black list as being someone deemed as being unworthy of receiving the aforementioned dvd. you know i love you really.

Hey Lou, have you contacted them about it? I was amazed at how quickly I received mine, I know you're in Enland (or the United Kingdom... or Great Britain...), but still, it shouldn't take too long

Lou - you do realise, that if said DVD is available for purchase somewhere where evil credit cards are not needed, it may be quicker for me to buy you a copy and send it over..... but y'know. We'll see how it goes.

Lily, well, they HAVE posted it.... I think I'm just being WAY too impatient. Sometimes things only take 3 days to go between Oz and here, and other times it takes FOREVER. When I was in Melbourne I once got two letters from my grandma on the same day - one had been posted a month before the other, which had been posted about 4 days before I got them. Fecking postal service!!!

Tris, we might well have to do that..... as long as you promise to post it out to me ASAP! haha. Talking of posting out dvds.. i need to post your NICA ones back..... [/personal conversation]

Maybe everyone else is over this by now.... but by golly was I excited when my Laughapoolooza DVD arrived in the post!!! It got here on Monday... which I was pretty pleased about seeming as it wasn't meant to be available in Oz until, what?, Wednesday or Thursday.

It makes me very happy. HURRAH!! It was a BLOODY long wait..... but finally tiz over. YAY.

JB have it listed on their online shop section, but when I checked the one in Penrith (on Thursday 16th) they still pretty much just had Billy Connolly dvds in their comedy section, and no sign of Laugha, and EzyDVD have it listed as "coming soon" on the website because of a distribution delay. Sanity also lists it online, but it looks like they're sourcing copies as it gets ordered, rather than having some in stock, so I don't know if it'll be in their stores.

HMV have no idea what I'm talking about when I try to search for it online *g*

If you don't want to order it online, JB would be the first place to look, they always have a lot of Madman titles in stock.

I've ordered mine through the Virgin store in Myer Parramatta. Apparently it'll take a couple of weeks to arrive.

BTW, did you know that Sanity, HMV and Virgin are all owned by the same parent company in Australia? When Virgin staff search for stock 'online', they're doing so through the Sanity website. Saw it with my very own eyes (while leaning over the counter to check that they'd spelt 'Laugh-a-poolooza' right!).

I pretty much treat them all as the same store. They have similar prices and all accept the 'Pulse' card etc. I tend to go to whichever store is physically closest at the time. I only choose Virgin when I want to use my Flybuys card...

yeah virgin bought sanity 2 years ago and then bought HMV last year. soon HMV will no longer exist as they are gradually being replaced with Virgin Megastores.

doesn't bother me, JB is always cheaper hehe
