Picked up mine today (joy! *g*) at EzyDVD (cause our local JB still thinks comedy=Billy Conolly and Mr Methane, no big surprise really, in Penrith) and it's fantastic *bg* Tim doing Pigs in the tent and everyone singing along? Just, absolutely brilliant And Eddie and Tim climbing all over the keyboard in Inflatable You? Hee! Love it *bg*

Have to wonder though, what happened to Sista She? They seem to have disappeared from the lineup, but not the finale *G*

They seemed to not have any of the token artists in it. Not that I'm complaining, those that are on it are the ones I really wanted to see again anyway.

Sista She are the only people missing from those who were actually there on the night, so I'm not sure if it's agency-based...although, issues with Token could explain why the dvd got postponed?

Wasn't tripod there on the night too? Or am I confusing it with another night?

*checks* Yeah, you're right...now, that is odd...I wonder what went on there?

To be honest, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if there had been some sort of clash between Token and Laughing Stock...it'd explain the extra four months of waiting and the absence of Tripod and Sista She...

Still, no biggie, all the most memorable aspects of what made last year's Laugha so fantastic are on the dvd *coughTIM'n'EDDIEcough*, and if you want video footage of Tripod singing the songs they did that night (Justin and My Humanity, from memory), you can go buy THEIR dvd *g*

What I was thinking... what happened to Sista She? What happened to Tripod?
How come Josh Earl got an extra e? How come GUD got an extra Paul McDermott?

Their were sound issues on the night that affected Tripod's performance. If people were there, they will remember the buzzing sound during their set.

Laughing Stock and Token are great mates, and they continue to be big supporters of Laughapoolooza. Tripod did two Laughas in Adelaide, and Sista She did one too. Expect to see them in Melbourn comfest in the next couple weeks.

The DVD was delayed because it wasnt ready. Simple as that.

I told them to take that extra 'E', sorry Josh.

Thanks for buying the DVD guys. Catch you in Melbourne!

Ahhh, right, I do remember the buzz, but I'd forgotten it was during Tripod. That's a shame.

Heh, I didn't mean that sort of clash, just thought there might have been contractual issues of some sort, or something, rather than personal issues. Glad to hear they'll be back for the 06 Melbourne run.

Heheheh, like there was a chance we wouldn't buy it...really, really glad Laugha's coming back this year. It was one of my festival highlights last year, and I'm expecting it to be a high point of this year, as well
