(Oh, this is for nokias by the way, I'm sure someone can convert it to other formats if they want to or something. And please correct me if I got bits wrong)

I got bored a few days ago and worked out this ringtone. I'm not sure I got it 100% right, but it's the best I could do from memory (after seeing him perform this song four times)

Aww, I got all excited when I saw this post, but my nokia's a few models along from being able to compose stuff like that...I have to download them or convert midi files and transfer them across instead.

Might have to be a project for later...

Or you could find a frind with a mobile that can compose the tune and send it to you, right?

Don't think so, I have the wrong type of phone for that style of ringtone.

I can get the normal notes like 4d2, but how to you type the (minor?) notes like 4.d2?

Although, answering the question is pointless, because on Wednesday I'll have my new phone which can't use this format anyway. But I can have two days of Tim. And then I can record his cd onto my phone as mp3 ringtones.

If I remember right it's by holding down either the # or * key. Can't remember which.

Thanks Cherryish. I forgot all about holding down the keys... Basically you hold down the note key until you get the little dot (I'm pretty sure this is indicative of a minor note?)

# makes the note go sharp, holding the letter down till it gets a . makes it 1 1/2 times as long

and yes circus_kid, I'm still intact - remember I finished the last night I was there?

There was one little bit that was wrong... but i've forgotten the correct notes.
I think its 4g1 4e2 4e2 4e2 2e2 8- 8g1
instead of 4g1 4e2 4e2 2e2 8- 8g1

Thats from memory though, so its most likely wrong....

Shall correct next time...
