Try hand washing them. I had a dry clean only jacket that mum hand washed on Tuesday and it came up fantastic. Was a bit surprised cause its sort of a suede thing.

I really think they should taper it off rather than just going cold turkey, the withdrawals are bad... although maybe that's a result of the drinking problem I managed to pick up over the last month...
