How's everyone coping with the post-festival blues?

I've been sitting up all night surfing the web, eating frozen pizza & chocolate by the barrel-load and I read a book. An actual book!

Ah, bliss.

Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

I honestly think I've lost my mind. I had quite a few hours of complete insanity last night.
Meant to have an early one... that didn't happen... particularly when I decided at midnight that I HAD to go to the supermarket (with my canvas bag!) for icecream... and ended up buying ridiculous things like fruit sticks.
Then decided to try to remember all the lyrics to Tim Minchin's encore song once I got home.

ahhh. I do miss comfest.

Wouldn't it be nice if the world was chocolate?, No it f**king wouldn't because you'd melt!!! Cameron Knight

This is my brain, and its fine. It's where I spend the vast majority of my time. Its not perfect, but its mine.. Tim Minchin

At about 9pm last night I realised I was getting edgy 'cos I wasn't dressed as a robot.

And then I remembered that we didn't do shows on Mondays anyway. Damn, how stupid did *I* feel?

I've managed to keep my Comfest sleepng habits, or at least the average time I went to sleep. Quite an achievement when I have to be out of the house by 7am, so I'm getting about an hour's sleep.

And I have so much food now. I was living on toast for three weeks, now there's so much food everywhere, and I don't want it.

I get you, GM, don't worry. It felt odd not seeing EVERYONE even though I mostly didn't see them Mondays anyway.

The worst part was walking past thetown hall at about 6... and all the lights and logos etc were still on... but nobody was around... felt so wrong!

i don't like the fact that both virgin and qantas seemed to have jacked up the price to go to melbourne. and yet coming to sydney is still really cheap.

what do they know that i don't???

I surely know that feeling. I'm 'way out west' as well. Went to work today and had people asking me where I'd been for the past week or so. Tried to explain what I'd been up to but I may as well have been talking to the wall. Just didn't get it...

You know what I really miss? I miss random pizza...just about any time of the day or night, if I happened to be out and felt a bit hungry, suddenly it's dollar-a-slice pizza time *sighs* I'm going to miss that...

Withdrawal for me too, mainly because there was so much stuff I wanted to see that I didn't, mainly because of no money. Oh, well, better start saving for next year.
