I sent you a pm.

But there are shows still towards the end of the show. im gng to be planning to see Adam Hills on Fri night, Lano and Woodley on Sat night, and Stephan K Amos on Sunday night. Worked out it would cost me $90 all up.

id be wanting to stay as close to the theatres as I can. Id be going to the Town Hall, Her Majesty's Theatre and Town Hall. Oohhhh i could go and see Adam and Stephan on the same night!! That woudl be very good cause it could let me see another show..Hmm Tripod maybe? Not sure...Hmm Danny Bhoy (though id be thinking of Colin Lane doing that pan pipe solo thing that he does in their tv show-they play the danny boy song....)... Micheal Chamberlain...hmm Wil Anderson

I have no idea if that is still going on. It was like that when I stayed there two years ago. It isn't too loud though, but then, I come from a lovely suburb where I'm woken at 7am every morning because another bastard has decided to knock down a perfectly good house to build triplex town houses.

anyone able to give any reviews on any of the hostels in melbourne? purely hypothetical at the moment *whispers calming thoughts to her credit card*

Apperent Toad Hall isnt very good, according to the BUG book, its walls dont go right to the roof so you can hear people a few rooms down..... Some are rather tacky, run down, but a few are great. If you can afford it, Base Backpackers in St Kilda sounds really great, they have a female only level where they give you freebies, but you have to pay like $40 a nght for that. Id rather stay in a chep but clean hostel and spend the money on seeign sights, how mnay hours are you going to be spending in the hostel? nO tmuch.

I havent been to melbourne yet, but i sure as hell plan to!
