Andrew McLelland's show is fabulous. It was the best show I've been to this festival - and I think the best of the 3 he's done so far. He's just brings so much genuine enthusiasm to his shows and is very funny.

But not a real green dress - that's cruel

just back from seeing christina davis and her show was fantastic. do not let the fact that she was on big brother put you off, she is very awesome, sweet and funny

also...geraldine hickey was fantastic. not an overly hilarious show but still very good.

am writing the reviews now and they should start appearing on my site from tomorrow onwards.

I saw him on Saturday. Because of a last minute decision to see shows, we were limited in choice. We were lucky to get tix to his show. It was so wonderful and personal. He is the kind of bloke that I would love to have for a friend. His dancing is great, and he isn't afraid to take the piss out of himself. It was packed on Saturday, but during the week not so much. If you get a chance, go and see him!

There was a bit about him playing harmonica, and I thought it was just part of the show. I also went to Dirt Road Blues (which was really, really great), and I was amazed to see him playing his harmonica. He was brilliant!

The other show that I saw and would recommend is Capt. Froddo. He does things with his body that is somehow so wrong, but amazing. He told a beautiful story about his father that made me cry. It was an amazing example of what parenting can and should be.

"When you think of the long and gloomy history of man, you will find more hideous crimes have been committed in the name of obedience than have ever been committed in the name of rebellion." -- C.P. Snow

Noooo!

I can't believe it... I've missed out on tickets for Dr Ernest Parrot. I was seriously hit by a bout of supreme depression yesterday... tried to get 2 tickets yesterday for either of the sunday sessions but to no avail...

I am absolutely devastated.

I don't suppose anyone's got any of said tickets lying around?

It's the one show I really wanted to see... I saw him last year and he was great...

I saw him last Saturday and thought he was enjoyable but not as funny as he used to be. I think he's lost some of the spark that made him so good.

I'm undecided about spots - Geoff (Coupling)

Who does surveys of 3 people, 3's not statistically significant - Cameron (Love Gud)

I'd like to give a BIG recommendation to see Claire Hooper's OH (Trade's Hall 7pm). It was unbelievably clever and cute. Such a brilliant idea, and so well executed. I was really really impressed.

Everybody should go spend a night at Trades Hall - maybe catch Birdmann or Am Dilemma afterwards.

A Porthole into the Minds of the Vanquished is awesome. (If you like absurdist comedy).

Lawrence Leung: The Marvellous Misadventures of Puzzle Boy was fantastic - has the best powerpoint presentation I've seen yet and is slightly geeky, which I love.

The Renegades of Folk are brilliant. Although I'm sure this is a well known fact already.
