Tickets on sale

I've just been over at the Ticketmaster site and noticed there's a few ComFest tickets for sale. Of course, there are the shows that had the pre-Christmas sale on (Danny Bhoy, Tim Minchin) plus a few others: Ed Byrne, Jason Byrne, Ardal O'Hanlon, Best of Edinburgh Fest, D-Cuppetry. Oh, and of course, the one-off events as well - the Gala, the Great Debate and Raw Comedy.

Can it really be only 3 months until ComFest 2007 starts? I'd better get my travel arrangements organised!

The Comfest Website has been updating with information about confirmed and onsale acts for a little while now.

This year features Jim Henson's adults-only puppet show. I have to admit I'm a little scared about that one...but I'm very happy about return visits from Tim Minchin, Jason Byrne, Stephen K Amos and Ed Byrne.

Edit: Oh, and I'm abso-fucking-lutely thrilled to see that the tent will be back again

For those Sydney-siders who are already trying to work out who'll they see at ComFest and who'll they see in Sydney, Mark Watson is doing some shows at The Studio at the Sydney Opera House. I noticed the info on his myspace page and checked the details with the Opera House's Box Office.

It's 1-13 May at 7.30pm. It's right before Tim Minchin's show at 9.00pm in the same venue, so it's possible to see both shows on the same night.

Thankyou for your email. Mark Watson is performing in the Studio at 7.30pm. Tickets are AUD$30.00 or AUD$25.00 for Australian pensioners or full-time students. Tickets are on sale from today 29th January. Bookings can be made online at www.sydneyoperahouse.com or by emailing us your request.
