Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

Unfy definitely needs to move out!!! so the sacrifice will be worth it hun

Not sure how much I could steal in the first week, but I am sure Alisso and crew will

I didnt see any shows at Adelaide Fringe last year, and I hadn't really planned to this year, so I will be right to go. Now if they would do GNW taping during the 21 - 25 Mar I would be happy.

The Festival website has named 2 comedians in the line up for the great debate - Hamish Blake and Cal Wilson. No mention (yet) on a filming date for GNW (at least on that website).

Unfy - I'm no-ones bitch. If someone wants to adopt me though, you'll find me bored in Canberra.

But I have to agree with you on the lineup. Its a bit poor. Perhaps the perfect year for me to 'temporarily relocate'. 12 years of festival-going and I never thought I'd say that. *sigh* must be getting old and cynical.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who looked at the line up and went 'meh' Some good stuff but a little underwhelming. And most of the ones I want to see are coming to Adelaide anyway, except for Phil Nichol (who I always go to see mainly to see how many people walk out).

There just isn't anything that makes me go 'yay - I must fly there now'

A bit up in the air at the moment as I need to get a full time job or long-term contract.

What also will happen is that I will be at Trades Hall and end up seeing a show to make up time or get to the Town Hall too early and see the first show of the night (have seen some good shows that way previously.)

Okay does anyone want to go to shows with me over Easter? plllleeeeeease

Sodsy and I are thinking Frank Woodley on 21 March and then the HiFi for Adam Hills and Jason Byrne show.

Then I have:

Spicks and Specks and Ross Noble.
I'm easy, it can be 22 or 23 for both of them.

anyone...

I booked flights down to Melbourne a few months ago (they seemed cheap at the time) and only recently discovered I'll have to push my trip back a day due to work commitments. Unfortunately, this also means I can't attend one of the shows I was looking forward to.

Is anybody planning on seeing Axed? http://comedyfestival.com.au/season/...alevents/axed/

If so, please post a detailed review so I can read it and curse my career.
