Just came back rom the adelaide fringe festival
so i can tell you peoples of the shows ive seen, since most of them are going to melbourne!!

THE BEST!!

Tom gleeson, "tom a thon" has be consistently laugh throughout all the 60 minute show

Stephen k amos, my favorite comedian, though some of the jokes ive heard before (on his cd) it was mostly new material!! He sold out all his shows in adelaide, even having some 11.30pm shows!!

SOMETHING DIFFERENT........

EVery Film ever made, What else can i say!! 3 crazy people perform various well known movies and even some not english speaking movies!! MOVIES FAn's, its a must!!

A record or a OBE, its a what if bill oddie left the goodies in there hey day? It's a theatre performance with tim brooke taylor and graeme gardiner figuring out what to do next!! A OBE by the way is what a queen can bestow on people, well look it up anyway because i dont really know!!

Kings of the watercooler, Two great up and coming comedians joke about computer games, IT and office stuff. Worth a look

AND BY NO MEANS THE REST!!

Mark WAtson has the best intro i have seen!! HILARIOUS!! The rest of the show was good too by the way, the audience loved it, he reminds me of Ross Noble because its seems like he doesnt have a set script and just goes off in tangents

Elbowskin, reminds me of HOORAY for EVERYTHING, so if u like musical comedy this will entertain

BILL HICKS, i missed the 1st 10 minutes but if you like american style comedy (basically swearing with subjects of politics and the usa in general) you should like this. He says denis leary stole his material so if you know what Denis leary is like, you will be this

FOR me, the must see shows are the zinger machine (oliver phammonoh, damn i spelt his name wrong) is a great asian comedian and when i first saw him, i had not laughed that loud for a support act. Give him a chance!!

Anthony menchetti in gay conversion school drop out sounds interesting

THERE are a few at the trades hall but they seem to be on all at the same time, BUGGEr i cant get to see them

Whats the best thing about dating a homeless girl? You can drop her off anywhere

(a joke used by Chris Franklin)

(in a chinese accent) "BE A MAN"

(Russell peters)

At this point, I am hoping that we have enough money for me to see ONE show... any show... I hate being broke.

well I finally had my first visit to Australia, and was lucky enough to have a couple of nights in Melbourne. Went to see:

Arj Barker - Very good show
Best of the Fringe - Mixed bunch, my wife reckoned David Ifft was the best, but I think Tom Stade stole the show.
Jason Chong - Minoroty retort - tiny venue, but Jason has great stage presence, and quite a funny act. He could do with dropping the bit with the transformers helmet though
Rob Hunter - Is Shoes? - Rob has some excellently written material, but no stage presence, timing or delivery. If he was writing for someone else, he'd be worth a few quid, but if he's looking for Fame, the really needs to work on it
Jason Byrne - Possibly the funniest show I've ever been to since Dead&ASlive was touring

Would love to have seen tripod and Rove, but they're not playing for another week or so. Managed to buy so much comedy material that I have been unable to get over here, it was like going to Mecca for me.

Wish I could have stayed longer on my first, but definatley not last, trip to australia.
