I really want to go to the Fest, but as per usual, I don't have a lot of money. Free is always good, but under $25 per person is okay too.

For the budget-minded and others who are just poor, who is the both good and cheap?

I'm the producer of comedian/cartoonist Brendan Lovechilds show, "I Wish I'd Never Been A Chicken".

Tickets are only $10 and are available online from the comedy festival site or at the door or at the purple box office in city square....

Have a look at halftix (next to the metcard shop at Townhall on Swanston St). We got most of our shows there for around $10-15, including some of the bigger names. The only problem is that you have to physically go there to see what's on.

My show is damn cheap ($15/$12) and if you ask at the info booth there might be 2-for-1 coupons ...

I am only going to the cheap shows or those I know people in this year, it works out better anyway as lots of people go to see the big names already.

I went looking for your show on the ComFest website. I couldn't find it, and I even know your real name.

Help me out with a link? Thanks.

To the others, thank you for your suggestions. I will check them out. Anyone else I should consider?

Only two more nights of his comedy festival show to go - one in a few hours' time and tomorrow. After that's there's no more.

Note that the Sunday show is not on an hour earlier and is still at 9pm.
