Personally, I'm hoping Sammy J wins the Barry - his show this year is truly remarkable. It's a big departure from his usual stuff, and it's worked wonderfully well.


I've also really enjoyed Nina Conti, Justin Hamilton and Fiona O'Loughlin's shows, but Sammy's efforts have really stood out for me as an example of the sort of amazing places you can take comedy.
