Well I'm bored so here goes nothing ..

My name is Kristy, more commonly known as either DMG, Krusty or Krustyburger, depending on who you're talking to :p

Been lurking around MOSH since the ITW days and began posting late 1999-early 2000. I'm still a fan of DAAS and Paul, but not as much as I was a couple of years ago (eg. when I was spending ridiculous amounts of money on merchandise ..) perhaps I'm just maturing in my old age? Nah, not likely. I'm still heavily into comedy - favourites being Tripod, Tom Gleeson, Ross Noble, Chris Addison, Adam Hills, the list goes on.

I'm a slightly obsessive person (perhaps more than slightly) and I'm highly fanatical about numerous things, especially WWE wrestling, Angel and The X-Files. I am just slightly in lust with Alexis Denisof (okay completely, I admit it) and had a dream literally come true when I got to meet him in Feb this year. My other favourite actors are Robert Patrick and John Cusack, my all-time fave movie is From Dusk Till Dawn, and my other fave tv shows include The Pretender, Buffy, Sex & The City, ER, Will & Grace, The Simpsons .. I could go on .. and on ..

I'm currently a professional slacker, which is a nice way of saying I'm unemployed and spend far too much time online. But I love chatting to people and in all seriousness some of my best friends in the world are those I have met online. I also love building websites, since late last year I've had my own domain set up at http://insane-reality.org. I run a couple of large fansites (one for Alexis, one for Shane McMahon) and at last count I'm up to 20 fanlistings, they're very addictive.

Okay I think I've bored you all long enough ..

And yes I did say I'm fanatical about wrestling.

Fred: Would you have loved me?
Wesley: I've loved you ... since I've known you ...

Suppose I should do this...

I be Mythor. I be Admin of MOSH for last few years. I took over back when MOSH was still a messageboard hosted through the InsideTheWeb (ITW) service, after the board started to verge on being impossible to use, because the original owner abandoned it to it's fate, for whatever reason. Since then I've overseen it's move from ITW after it was shut down. Incarnations of the board after that have been hosted on Hypermart and it's current home here on Server101. This is the third forum software version the board has used, starting with IkonBoard v2, moving to IB3 and finally to the current phpBB system.

I spend quite a bit of time here on the board, although I've been spending less time in chat of late, since I'm tired of certain people's attitudes and flagrant disregard for rules that are in place for a reason.
I will usually answer emails people send me, but no longer give out my ICQ UIN nor my MSN email address. ICQ because it gets abused, MSN because I rarely run it. :P

I am a Red Dwarf fan. I used to have a fairly popular RD website. I closed it down after I realised there wasn't much point to updating it as infrequently as I was.
I also have an e-greetings site that has been crippled by it's webhost, Hypermart. So it ain't worth going there, either... Unless you want to play a Good News Week or Red Dwarf hangman game. :lookarou:

I have a compilation of 121 different wallpaper images that are changed randomly when my computer starts. Quite a few of them are images I created myself, including 3D art rendered with POV-Ray, a free to use raytracing program. I like it because it's more mathematical than artistic, which suits me better, since I'm better at math than I am at art.

I have a shiiiiiny feely bloo mobile phone cover. And you don't.

I don't use Outlook Express. I don't use Netscape Communicator (or whatever they call it now). I don't even use Eudora or Incredimail. I use Pegasus.
I probably get more email than any ten of you combined. Gotta love stupid spammers.

I have been "online" in one form or another, although not always constantly, since around 1990. Some of you were probably still working out how to walk when I was connecting to other computers for chatting, games and downloading things like the original version of "The Terrorist's Handbook."
We've had a computer of some sort in the house since about '82-'83 or thereabouts. Some of your parents probably weren't even together when I first got into computing.
I don't say either of those to brag, only to show people why I may seem somewhat jaded when it comes to certain things online. Not to mention why I will hunt you down and kill you if you forward pretty much anything to me, if it is not forwarded JUST to me.

I have a dialup connection, but probably still manage to download more than some of you broadband suckers per month. :P

I am a Stargate fan. I have every episode of the show on my hard drive. They take up around 3gb, all together.
That includes episodes that haven't aired here yet.

I have a deep loathing of the cynical programming department at Ch7. If you believe them, we're probably in about the 12th season of Stargate. And we're still behind the Brits and US, who have just finished the actual season six.
Not to mention the 'wonderful' things they do for Buffy and Angel, as well as any other decent sci-fi show they get their grubby paws on, for at least the last 15 years.

I was an X-Files fan. Until the writers suffered simultaneous brain aneurysms and made the focus be the relationship between Mulder and Scully and the government conspiracy, instead of "monster of the week." Their show, they can do what they want, but they lost me as a fan, and I'm not alone.

I know nug. A lot of the GNW mp3s floating around were made by her. The older stoney looking MOSH logo was also made by her.

I used to be the defacto 'leader' of a team/clan/squad/whatever of Tanarus players known as "The Fad Muckers". nug, sodo, our strange american friends LEON and Mickie were also members. We were a team of Tanarus players.... Until Tanarus changed back to pay-to-play, and we couldn't play no more.

Are you bored yet? I am.

First of all... let's cheer for Baby G who managed to get through all of four pages of introductions with no interuptions.

About me: I joined MOSH in 2001, I discovered it after going to DAAS fiction and getting incredibly sick of DAASfanfic very quickly. I was a fan of GNW and then moved onto a PAUL/DAAS/GNW obbsession for about two and a half years. I sought counselling and now just have a general appriciation for comedy in general. My favourite comedians are pretty much everyone else's in the board so I don't really need to bother to list them all again do I?

I am also obbsessed with many other things.. notably Black Books when it was on last year. May it rest in peace. *cries* I also tend to have my pet obbsessions which have nothing to do with comedy whatsoever. I love Lord of the Rings.. books and movies and pretty much all fantasy. Everybody should worship The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Harry Potter. I am sadly a Hornblower addict... and fall for anybody with an English, Irish or Scottish accent. According to my friends, I'm going to turn into a complete slut when I travel over to Great Britain. I go through celebrity crushes... considerably quickly and have never had a normal crush in my life.

I keep an LJ, I used to like creative writing but havn't written anything for two years. I also debate as third speaker, I think it would be one of my strengths. I'm passionate about current issues, I want to study either arts/law or international studies/law at university. I would like to go into the UN or become a successful lawyer in the future. I'm committed to the No War effort also.

Baby G - My name came from the fact that I was rather young when I started out on the internet with my group of friends. I was 12 at the time. I got the nickname because my name is Georgia in real life etc etc.. you may also see me at places with name's like devilrose or azuresaGe.

Finally... I'm way too obbsessed with Rocky Horror Picture Show for a normal 15 year old. And I'm 16 in May. Also people probably don't know me because I havn't been posting as much as I did last year. This is due to the fact that I have NO TIME!! *waves to all the newbies*

That's me.. I should go do some homework now.

i really like comedy.. alot. and i like basically everything.. i like all sorts of music, my 2 favourite bands at the moment are dave mccormack and the polaroids and the doors..
currently i should be writing a essay that is due tomorrow, entilted, 'how humans have had a negative impact on the lithosphere', but i went to a 'how to host a murder' party last night, and i am really tired. i went as Eddie G. Ambler.. a millionaire... i was basically a 1920s gangsta and i reckon i looked like a complete dickhead... but hell! anyway i wasn't the murderer and i wanted to be! :p
some things about me:
- i have a 'i want to believe', x-files poster on my bedroom wall and all my friends want it!
- i go to an all girls school and we wear pink uniforms with light blue socks... its BAD
-both my parents are teachers and the only homework i have ever done has been assignments.. none of that textbook shit. (my parents are so cool.. they let me do anything!!! )
- my sister is a complete idiot, planning on going to egypt in the next few days to go scuba diving in the red sea... my whole family doesn't want her to go, but she wants to and doesn't understand that she could possibly be killed as we are at war
- i went to a social justice evening last week, and got told that if i didn't have a goal or god in my life, i have no life... (so now i am dead.... are you?)
- i have a garfield phone and a blow up astroboy in my room
-my favourite food is orange sweet potato, closely followed by chocolate... :lookarou:
- i am wearing lime green track pants...
- my science teacher (from last year) recently bought me a copy of GNW book 1 in perfect condition from a garage sale for 50 cents :exclamat:
i don't know what else to say....

Stuff that's fun.... number 1: that!

Umm...hi.

My nickname is Penny ... why? I don't know. It just is. My real name is Laura and I hate it. My middle name is Ashley. That's right, my name is Laura Ashley. I fucking hate my parents.

I'm 14, I'm probably one of, if not the, youngest people on this board. I live in Sydney, go to a shithouse public school, and have a Canadian as a brother-in-law.

I'm a devout Catholic, but the church pisses me off about some things (their views on homosexuals and abortion for example.) I don't preach to anyone, 'cause I hate it when people try to convert me to Christianity (yeah people on the street try to convert me FUCK OFF I ALREADY AM!!!). And Bishop David Cremin should be the pope, 'cause he actually made church and Catholic school fun (How much do I love that guy?).

I joined MOSH sometime last year after stumbling across it somehow. I lurked around for a while until I finally worked up the courage to post. I was very scared of you guys ... heh, I still am.

I hate my friends. They shit me greatly. I hate my family, who are five of the most homophobic gits around. I would like to move out of home - tonight. Can I move in with one of you? Didn't think so. I hate my English teacher. She made me hate English - which is a pretty hard thing to do, seeing as I'm suck a freakin' nerd.

I am currently trying to juggle three crushes at once -- it's surprisingly hard. (Oooh Cara, Belinda and Isabelle ... could you be any straighter?)

My fetishes include:
Radiohead, Weezer, Ben Folds/Five, The Wallflowers, Ben Kweller, NIN, Marylin Manson, Regurgitator, AM Radio, Nick Cave, Green Day, The Whitlams, Darren Hanlon, The Dandy Warholes, Cake, Triple J, the word 'fetish', art, the word 'fuck', Russia and all things connected to Russia, talking about myself, talking to myself, Mafia movies, pianos, black hair, Queer As Folk (american version), the muppets, glasses, my friend Katt's website, young men in suits who wear aftershave(as much as I love girls, there's still something about mens aftershave that turns me on), Red Dwarf, storms, hellokitty's avatar, my avatar,Stephen King books, vodka, the French Revolution, not shutting up, junkies, Oscar Wilde, long, pointless emails, drama, ridiculously romantic movies from the 40's and 50's, anything Ewan McGregor has ever done, Nicole Kidman (drool!), Natasha Stott Despoja, anti-Avril Lavigne-ism, sleeping and stuff.

Goals In Life:
-to become an author (but everyone knows that your number one goal never comes true)
-to see Weezer in concert
-to become a heroin addict (just to piss people off)
-to assasinate George Bush II
-to have sex with a cannibal.

Did you read all of that? I didn't.

If he's not here in five minutes I'll buy a gun and fucking stab him with it!

Go ahead and talk to me. My day was already ruined anyway.

How the hell did I find this thread? Wouldn’t you like to know?

Well, no, probably not

I’m 21 (in a week or so), male, 5’11 and I live out in the Newcastle region of NSW. I stumbled across MOSH a few weeks ago whilst doing a search for Johnson and Friends, the ABC tv show (don’t ask).

I never lurked, I just joined straight up, I have a tendency to leap in before I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.

That said, I couldn’t be more pleased that I did join, and in the process meet a lot of wonderful people!

Now, about me…

I work for a local Newspaper as an admin/creative writer, and have done so for the last 3 years. I am first and foremost a writer, both poetry and prose, and my passion for writing has been an integral part of me since I was 16. I’m a big fan of both Buffy and Angel, and indeed Joss Whedon himself, I take a special interest in the amount of effort that goes into his scripts.

I watch too much tv, but there’s just so much to watch! I read too many books, for a similar reason. I’m a sci-fi/fantasy fan, and I used to watch GNW religiously, even after channel 10 snatched it and drove it into the ground

I’m not so much a fan of individual comedians as I am a fan of laughter. I love being made to laugh, and making people smile and laugh in return.

I live with my ex gf in a unit I bought around 18 months ago, and I do so enjoy it! It affords me the ability to do what I want, when I want. Oh, and to pay bills, pay off the home loan, you know, generally just pay out a lot of money to a lot of places

I have the special ability of being hopelessly accident prone, I don’t drink and I generally shy away from the nightlife scene, due to not drinking and not really having much of an interest in modern music

Instead, I prefer to head to the cinema quite a lot, and I enjoy going out to restaurants, wining and dining without the wining part

I have a sarcastic, dry sense of humour and I am happy nearly all the time, except when I’m not. Oh, and I love cartoons, even though I don’t get the chance to watch many nowadays.

That’ll do, Vag, that’ll do… :p

Fate…and Johnson and Friends…brought us together.

I can't believe...my account still exists!

I'm really bored, so I guess I'll introduce myself...
Hi, I'm loserkid, my real name is Jelmer. I'm from holland and I hate it, I'm gonna leave as soon as possible, probably within afew years when I'm graduated.

I found MOSH when I was looking for good songs if you're depressed, and I found the thread here. After reading through a few of the other threads, I decided to join.

I don't know a thing about the comedy you all like, except for DAAS a bit, but I do like comedy. My favorites are Hans Teeuwen, Bert Visscher, Arie en Silvester, Klaas and some others... not that you'll know any of them :p

I'm more into music than comedy, I love Placebo, The Smashing Pumpkins, Slipknot (I love yelling ), System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Linkin Park, Millencolin, Lit, Bowling for Soup, K's Choice (great band from Belgium), Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Beck, Moby, Badly Drawn Boy, Zwan and more.

I also am a cartoon-addict, I love Invader Zim, Spongebob Squarepants, South Park, Futurama, The Simpsons and much much more

Well, that's pretty much everything I can come up with now

I'm a lesbian male. Ask my girlfriend.

Holy snap!

I'm a 20-year-old male from Adelaide, 6'3", slightly psychotic, manic-depressive, limo-ridin', jet-flyin', wheeling dealin', son-of-a-gun. Wooooo!

I discovered MOSH in 1776 when mah homie Captain Cook and I were killing up all you d00ds in that whack sail ship.

Here's a shock. I love comedy...GOOD comedy. I hate bad "comedy", and sadly, there's a lot of it around. When I see bad comedy, I won't hesitate in telling you and mocking it.

I'm unemployed and it doesn't look like I'm getting a job any time soon.

I hope to be an actor or a musician, or a comedian or a writer. The major problem is that I lack all confidence to attempt this.

I don't really have any friends. A few people claim to be my friends, but I never see them. And once just left for Broome without bothering to tell me.

I've never had a girlfriend and I've pretty much given up on love.

I regularly perform for Adelaide theatresports troupe, ImproExpresso. (Speaking of which, I'm supposed to be recruiting beginners...anyone wanna join? Bueller? Bueller?)

Word to the square root of pi.

Wil Anderson, Paul McDermott, Tripod and Ed Byrne are my faves at the moment), rock 'n'pop (Whitlams, MGF, Placebo and, my ultimate faves, The White Stripes), reading (I know- nerdy nerdy me), movies (Amelie is my fave film, but I also love Memento, Donnie Darko and Fight Club), Uk comedy series (ala My Family, Black Books and Father Ted) and hope to study Media at university.

hi there i am miss_doobie

name comes from the old kids tv show 'romper room', i was obsessed with it as a kid and my family have called me 'doob' ever since. when it came time to choose a net nickname it seemed the obvious choice.

i live in melbourne, but grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere. currently i work at 'hollywood on bourke' which is the coolest shop around.

i have completely forgotten how to use capital letters since i started using the net about 4 years ago. puctuation seems to suffer too.

single and living with one of my best friends and her cat, marlow.

stumbled across mosh when on a hunt for some daas recordings that a nasty ex boyfriend decided to pawn.

its nice, i like it here, think i'll hang around for a lil while.

no idea what else to say really, might add to this later...
