i don't understand how they change it to a 1 minute version. they can't exactly cut parts of it out, because it just won't make sense.

i dont' know how they're going to do it, but it will be interesting to see how they do that...*ponders*

I was thinking that maybe they'd just cut off the first minute or something?

Am I the only one who doesn't care that it's a Honda ad?
Am I the only one who'd happily sit there and watch it over and over? Like 15 times in a row so it'd go for a half-hour?

*grins* Hell no! Apparently the concept was taken from a 30 minute thing like this nyway, but I can't remember who it was by! I'd love to find the article that I read that in and find it just so I can watch that too!

"There are six and only six hand-made Accords in the world. To the horror of Honda engineers, the filmmakers disassembled two of them to make the film. Everything you see in the film (aside from the walls, floor, ramp, and complete Honda Accord) are parts from those two cars.

The voice-over is Garrison Keillor.

Oh. And about those funky windshield wipers. On the new Accords, the windshield wipers have water sensors and are designed to start doing their thing automatically as soon as they become wet. It looks a bit weird in the commercial.

As amazing as this is, it's actually based on an earlier film from the seventies called "How Things Move" by two Swiss self-destructing artifacts artists (say that ten times fast). In that film, a similar set-up with household objects goes on for thirty (thirty > three-zero!) minutes with air jets and fire and chemical reactions."

*scampers off to see if she can find "How Things Move" anywhere...*

There was another version that Honda pulled of the air after 2 days. They have a write up on SMH.

I tried searching for a copy, no luck yet.

I saw that ad. I would've thought it'd get taken off because it was just crap?
The article describes the ad about right. They should've stuck with the cool one.
