MOSHer Theme Songs

I was listening to the songs of Monty Python at work today, and when the Spam song started, it made me laugh *g* And it occurred to me that, as well as nearly the only lyric of the song being her name, the tune is quite apt for Spammy as well, being bouncy, strange, and prone to attracting odd stares from those who don't understand

Then I got to thinking, now that I've done the obvious one *G* - what songs do YOU associate with particular MOSHers, and why?

Apart from Paul's Seahorse song for Zinja, a'course *G* And "These Boots Are Made For Walking", and I'll stop before I start with the Village People references *snickers at Zinja and runs away before he can hurt her*

I've always though "Stalk" was good one for MOSH people in general.

Oooh, I don't know, I haven't been here long enough

But I have a theme song!

It goes to the tune of Bob the Builder's mambo number five

Vagrant’s Theme Tune

Bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwa! Bwa!

A little bit of Vagrant on the run.
A little bit of Vagrant having fun
A little bit of Vagrant, yeah, oh my
Hey that Vagrant’s quite a guy!

A little bit of Vagrant singing songs
A little bit of Vagrant all night long
A little bit of Vagrant, here I am
A little bit of me, the Vagrant man…

Nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwa! Bwa!

A little bit of Vagrant on-line
A little bit of Vagrant trying to rhyme
A little bit of Vagrant posting spam
A little bit of Vagrant’s who I am

A little bit of Vagrant in your mind
Wish that you could leave his spam behind
Never gonna happen cause here you are
You must kinda like it if you got this far…

Bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwa! Bwa!

A little bit of Vagrant’s in us all
Whether you be small, fat, thin or tall
All that random idiocy
Yeah baby it links you all to me

I’ve gotta go now, been here too long
And I’ve found a way to end this song
I’ll end it on a pointless, stupid rhyme
But because I’m Vagrant that suits me fine…

Nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwaa bwa, bwa bwa, nanananana bwa! Bwa!

*is proud of himself*

Fate…and Johnson and Friends…brought us together.

I can't believe...my account still exists!

sorry, only some of you will get that.

As Munchkin said elsewhere, the "Men in Tights" song seems somewhat apt for the male contingent on Mosh.

The big question is, who gets the honour of having the Imperial Death March associated with them?

I'm programmed for etiquette, not destruction!

*Steps in and waves moderator stick* Please keep this on topic, OK? (I cen't believe I just posted that)

For those of you wondering, yes, Grumpy Librarian mode has been activated.

Other songs: "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?" and "I Want To Spill The Blood Of A Hippy" spring to mind.

If we're talking keeping this on topic, I asked for songs for particular MOSHers, and I asked for why, so who for each of those, and why? *G* If, of course, you need to elaborate *G*

See now, I know of one reason why that's relevant, but I also have to worry about you singing it, considering the story that song tells *giggles*

I'd say anything Christmas-y would be appropriate for me.

Like... the Monday, Tuesday, Days of the Week song...

*starts the doo wapping bit for you...*

i don't know who this suits in particular, but the chorus from louis burdett seems appropriate... as for me... royal in the afternoon, just for the great line of: "if i am awake in the morning, we'll be royal in the afternoon..." the keyword being IF... i love songs about sleeping in!!

although i think krystalb*tch's theme song is deli girl... cos she is one!

i think the imperial death march should be saved for crazed librarian stalker lady type people. he he he.

guess who i think of when i hear the tripod song "This Could Be the Spoof that saves Michael Jackson". if you haven't heard it, just listen to it and think of spoof and the song takes on a whole new meaning (and i mean it in the nice way spoofy i swear!!!!)

i personally start laughing and think of moshers whenever i hear one of the songs we danced to at the superband.

for me i like Take on Me by A-hA cause i have a habit of making up my own words to songs and singing that particular song off key. i also have a habit of breaking into the opening chords for no reason and freaking people out (especially bad when on public transport).

mmmmmm give me a moment to think with my now unused rainman music knowledge and i'm sure i could think of something for most moshers

Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

absolutely!!!... it's just that you don't think of the songs off the top of your head, but when you do, you just think of someone in particular.

"Please, help me stop this cruelty to confectionary and savoury snacks. Act now, before it's too late" - Vagrant (Mosher)

"I'm sick of meeting men with rare or pedigree cheese in their pockets" - Gatesy (Tripod)

The theme song for MOSh should be the original words to Sad Fuckers Of The World... "you're the computer hack with the pimpled back..."

And also Louis Burdett - The Whitlams...

As for individual ones *shrugs*

Fornicators, freaks and sodomites - Transsexuals and transvestites - Homo, hetero or confused - Bisexual, used and abused - The perverse litany is here - Sadomasochistic bondage gear - Sex is sin, sin is fun - Come one, come all, in the end just come!
