Favourite Snack?

Hehe, forgive me if this thread in a similar format has been posted before (and considering how long this site hs been around, it probably has ), but what your favourite thing to eat while you are watching tv, foruming etc...

I likes Maltesers. I eats far too many that is good for me. I went through a stage where I liked snacking on pickled onions, but thankfully, those days are behind me

Probably a close second to Maltesers would be Salt and Vinegar chippies...mmmm, yum.

Fate…and Johnson and Friends…brought us together.

I can't believe...my account still exists!

My favourite takes an investment of time, but it's very rewarding.

I have two minute noodles, which I cook, then drain. Then I put a bit of oil in the bottom of the pot and fry/scramble two eggs. When the eggs are cooked I put the noodles back in the pot and stir it up. Sure, it's a pretty rough cleaning job, but it's awesome, and I've given myself a craving, so I'll be in the kitchen making some right now.

I don't really like traditional snack food.

I went through a terrible maltesers phase...I was working, and I figured I needed the sugar burst in the afternoon, since I don't drink tea, coffee, or coke to get a caffiene hit from. And I always listened to the same CD while I ate them. I could make one pack last most of an afternoon, but it got to the point where hearing the CD made me crave them *giggles*

Improved now *g* I stay away from maltesers if I can help it *G* Best tasting snack in the whole world is definately Krispy Kreme donuts *G* I may be biased, but I don't care *g* But I like the single serve packs of Tiny Teddies too...the choc chip ones are yummy *G*

I've always had really freaky eating habits...I went through a stage of having fish fingers on a toasted english muffin for breakfast, that also makes a good snack if you're hungry *g* Frozen woolworth's choc-chip muffins are, for some odd reason, actually nicer than when they're thawed *G*

I miss Muncheros...anyone else remember them? They were thin rectangular strips of stuff that was like corn chips, and they were curled and twisted and stuff, and covered in that cheese flavoured powder they use on corn chips *g* Very yummy. They also had a highly daggy ad, singing "munch on muncheros" to a tune I've also heard used for an ad for the "one tonne rodeo" *G*

I also miss Tostito's corn chips...they were really mild flavoured, no dodgy fluro orange powder on these ones, just sea-salt and stone-ground corn. But they were intensely addictive *G* We'd buy them to have as nachos, and we'd keep on eating the chips after the meat ran out *G*

Then there were NixNax *giggles* God, this is memory lane for snack food *giggles*

When I was young, my favourite snack was the chip sandwich *G* I was never allowed to have it at home, though, cause we never had chips in the cupboard, so whenever I went to my friend's house across the road, we'd end up having chip sandwiches and watching Indiana Jones movies *bg*

I can eat a box of Barbeque Shapes in one go. Yes, I can.

I have a horrible habit of getting a Hot Dog nearly every time I walk past a Wendy's...

Salt'n'Vinegar NixNax were ultra choice.

The various snacks of SR (obviously not all at once, cos that would be a bit icky): frozen peas, dried diced apricots (though once I've started I can't normally stop until I've scoffed the whole packet), cheap and nasty beef or chicky flavoured noodle cups, mints, baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream and garlic butter, mint-slice biscuits, natural fruit co snakes, choc-chip choc-fudge biscuits, grapes, cracker barrel cheese - as you can tell, it all seems to depend on my mood and what I have in the fridge/pantry.

I also find that if I have something sweet, I then have to have something savory, or vice versa.

Whenever it's all inside the cupboard, plain english muffins, light toasted to goldy brown with Peters Choccy Swirl icecream on top. Or Nutella straight from the jar. Or chutney and melty cheese on toast, and better if there's some tomato soup to dip it in. Or plain rolled oats with diced dried apricots and sultanas, powdered milk and hot water. Pizzas made from english muffins or souvlaki breads. Grated cheese. Salami. Buffalo cheese. Twiggy sticks. Olives. Stewed apricot with cereal. Orange cut up into lots of small bits and eaten with a fork. Yoghurt eaten with a fork. Lettuce with salad dressing.

I have bizarre taste but my favourite thing in the world world to eat is sweet potato. I eat it anytime of the day. It's really nice when you steam it, along with carrot and pumpkin and then have it mashed with grated cheese and gravy.

But other than that, chocolate, cornflakes with sugar or bananas, cheese and apple together and corn.

Oooh, snacks... I don't eat meals, I graze.

Well, I've eaten tons and tons of chicken 2minute noodles, had two packets everyday after school... have cut down of late *g* but also, alfafa and cheese on bread roll with salt, melted jarlsberg cheese on jatz, skittles, caramel kitkat chunkys (Mmmmmm), prawn crackers, Chiko rolls, KFC popcorn chicken (or whatever animal they use), baked bean jaffles, avocado on toast (with salt! or chicken salt...), Picnic chocettes, honey baked ham kettles chips, dry two minute noodles... that reminds me, I went through possibly the oddest stage ever in Gr 12, where I ate packets of 3 minute pasta (dry, not cooked)... Mmm, tasty, NOT.

I'm not big on healthy snacks... and I can get away without them, cause I'm tall and skinny, and, they tell me, with a cholesterol deficiency, which I didn't think was possible in Australia. But it is.

Danny Boy - when I saw my big sister making 2m-noodles with scrambled eggs I thought she was stupid, and now I find out it's a cult! Have yet to try it...

...but we are not stupid pooeys, so let's rejoice...

Woolworths Chocolate Mud Cake. With cream. Or Ice Cream.
At the moment I've been snacking on Milka choclate, Mint Slices and Tim Tams. Or CC's and salsa.

Now I'm hungry!
