Why is everyone dying
Given that there's sites where you can bet on them dying, a site which tells you if they're still alive is pretty normal....

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! *weeps*

Elliot Smith, one of the greatest indie singer/songwriters of the 90's has been found dead in his apartment. Its a suspected suicide - he was found by his girlfriend last night, with one stabwound to the chest.

He was best known here for his "Miss Misery" off the Good Will Hunting Soundtrack and albums "XO" and "Figure8" (which included the single 'Son of Sam') - all total melodic pop gems.

Granted, most of you probably never heard of him, but I shall miss him.

no Sharleen, I was saddened when I heard the news too. He wrote with such beauty and poignancy I adored and still do his tune Waltz#2.
*sigh* Another great talent has gone from the world.

so it IS true? *sob*

last i heard it was just a rumour, but i was very, very saddened by the news... the only stuff i had of his was on some mix cd's my friend made for me, but he was so amazing, and deserved to be so much better known than he was.

*sigh* that's horrible... horrible... damn it. why DOES everyone have to die?

RIP Elliot, may your music live on forever.

There has been a lot of deaths in the past few months... First my budgie, then Shellie's 2 mice, and last night Tracey's new puppy (had it for a week and a bit) was really sick so they took her to the vets and they reckon it's a really bad disease and she might not survive I just hope mine and Shellie's new kittens don't get sick too... And my goldfish aren't looking too good either...

Also, there's been a lot of deaths in my country hometown since August. Three people died of cancer, including my stepdad, and now Shellie's dad found out he's prolly got lung cancer too (they're still doing tests), and also there's two other people with cancer, and one with their leg rotting off. It's verrry odd...

It's seriously freaking me out - in my first 21 years only 3 relatives, 1 acquaintance, and 1 animal died... but in the past three months, that record's been taken over with such ease - it makes you wonder...

Magic armor had never been very popular in Ankh-Morpork ... it tended to lose its magic without warning. Many an ancient lord's last words had been, "You can't kill me because I've got magic aaargh!!" - Terry Pratchett (Interesting Times)

I'm tempted to say he had a whale of a time, but considering he was kept in captivity, he probably didn't.

Still, he'd been entertaining the Norwegians for the last 18 months.

Fate…and Johnson and Friends…brought us together.

I can't believe...my account still exists!

*snort*

What am I talking about? There's no way I could love humans. They're too much like people.
