Reputation: Reputation Power: 5 | found out tonight that David Gemmell (Author) died sometime last week, aged 57.  news story here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5224868.stm My Dad, Brother and sister were big readers of his work (which included Waylander and Legend) I've only read a couple, but enough to know that he was a damn good writer, I always meant to read more, but never managed to find the time. | ||

I know it was probably just leaked by one of the paramedics or something but man, that strikes me as really, really horrible. what if his kids found out about it online or something? or his wife heard it on the radio?! argh. fuckin' bastards. I'm sad poor croc hunter. I guess at least he died doing something he loved, and was passionate about. | ||
