Farrah had been unwell for a couple of years so her death was somewhat more expected. And I guess MJ was the bigger star so it does make sense... I was never a huge MJ fan but I know many of his songs and while he was a bit of a freak in real life, he had a lot of talent and it's sad he's gone.  Last edited by Mythor; 26-06-2009 at 08:56 PM. John Hughes (I) heart attack aged 59. He wrote or directed such movies as Home Alone, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, the National Lampoon Vacation movies and The Breakfsat Club, to name a few. He's responsible for many of the movies I grew up watching!! | ||

Yes, when I saw he was responsible for Ferris Bueller and The Breakfast Club, my reaction was a resounding "meh". But then I saw he also did things like Home Alone and Uncle Buck. Uncle Buck!  RIP dude.

Mike Leyland! 68, of Parkinson related complications. Many of you are probably too young to remember his TV show, but I was just the right age to enjoy it with my folks. Good clean family fun and you'd learn all sorts of things about the country. Very sad. Was just wondering the other day what had become of them. | ||
