Need Help With A Song

Hiya's

This has been bugging me for like - forever
And i kick myself for not finding out at the time...mind you the internet wasn't really around back then :exclamat:

Ok, for all the older kiddies around here, can you all remember listening to Martin/Malloy on Fox FM in the afternoons?

No? Bugger! Perhaps you can ask your older brothers and sisters
Yes? Read On...

Martin/Malloy used to have some theme music
sort of went:

ba ba baba ba....ba ba baba ba (you get the idea)

I heard the long version on one of their saturday night party mixes and the only lyrics i remember are:

Everybody wants to rock the party
everybody wants to rock on

its a dance track type dealio

if you could help nail a title or artist to this track i'd be most grateful as i have search high & low for this information.

and yes i've done heaps of net searches to no avail

i'm kinda hoping one of you guys and gals will just have this in their head or actually has this on a mix cd somewhere

Fingers crossed!!!

thanks

Perhaps you should try one of the many music forums out there on the net.

Thanks for the input
Thought I might try here first as my primary source was Martin/Malloy - hence comedy - hence someone may know

As the song is mostly instrumental its very hard to explain the song without this reference being "too australian"
As mentioned above a bunch of baba ba ba's isn't very helpful

If you could illuminate some links to music forums that would have some idea of this song i'd be most grateful
I'm not musically inclined and would have trouble explaining the song beyond what i already have.

it wasn't they're remix of jim waley was it??

it was all duff duff music with words of jim's put together to make bizarre sentences like my favourite

duff duff duff duff "crazy lesbians full of beans" duff duff duff

Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

hmm, nah don't think so
cos i heard the full track on the saturday night dance mixes thingy...can't remember what they called the show, it provides linked dance music after 10pm or something, dunno even if they still do it, thats how long its been since i listened to the Fox lol
It was the full song i heard, then it morphed into another one, as the songs usually do on that program
So i'm thinking its a legit song, they just borrowed like 10 seconds of it for the start of their show
as far as i know and remember the only words in the song are the ones i listed above
i don't own any of the martin/malloy cd's, so i don't know if the theme is played briefly at the start of the cd, anyone who has the albums will know.
Hopefully!
I've emailed Fox, but i'll probably never hear from them d'oh!

Thanks for the suggestion though
