I just came to the decision that I really can't be arsed writing in detail where I'd take people in this huge city, so I'll just say that if music is your life (as it is for me), then you'll LOVE Melbourne - it caters for every single music taste possible, and there are live bands every single night of the week if that's your thing. And then there's more comedy venues and nights than you can poke a stick at. Hurrah!!! Melbourne I love you.

Come to sunny Edensor Park! Where just  15 minutes from the delights of Sydney's premier entertainmaint venue - Australia's Wonderland! Oh what a joy it is to visit! You'll never be bored there.

For the more culturally minded Edensor Park is also only a 10 minute drive to the drug capital of Australia - Cabramatta! If you want to see the junkies in their natural habitat, may I suggest loitering around the train station between 10am-4pm...its when they are most active. Breathe in and enjoy the wonderful aroma that is Cabramatta. I garuntee you've never smelled anything quite like it.
Edensor Park is also a great base for a marvellous shopping experience. There is Bonnyrigg Plaza in close vicinity that features Big W, Woolworths and Franklins! For those more economically minded there is an Aldi store nearby as well. Of course there is the shopping Mecca that is Liverpool WEstfields. There you will find endless rows of womens clothing stores that feature much the same fashions - but who could get enough of that eh? Enjoy a fantastic lunch at some of the finest eateries - Tamana's North Indian Diner, Little Hong Kong Self Serve and McDonalds!

So come and see my suburb - home of the 1998 2DayFM's best sporting team in Sydney, Sydney United Soccer Club. You won't regret it.

Adelaide is a great place (bearing in mind I don't actually live there). Every time I go there's always something to do. Last year I went to LaManze (spelling?), Glenelg magic mountain, Marion Westfields, Tea Tree Plaza, The Myer Centre, ummm...a nightclub called Heaven....err Payenham Swimming Pools....uhh Chicken Treat....there's heaps!

Abundance you just listed all the things that can be done in adelaide (and btw payneham swimming pools? they have tiles that cut your feet!!) and all of them can be done within two weeks just about apart from the le manxz or however u spell it are u talking about the car racing thing?? but yes the nightclubs are for over eighteens so yes not a lot for young teenagers any who to do in adelaide.

sorry if this seems directed at you its not there are some other matters that are pissing me off and im wishing i could be as far away from adelaide and my family at the moment.

well its all well and good to say YOUR town is the crapiest but all that sayes to me is that you have never been to perth, or as we pertharians like to call it, the arse end of the world. no one ever comes here, lets just say the entertainment highlight of the year is the robbie williams concert!!!!!
and just to top it all off it is pissing down with rain this weekend and i cant even go out, oh yeah there is the royal show too, but the fun is tkaen out of that when your walk out of the show grounds -200 dollars later.
it is a pretty place in summer though, and it goes off at schoolies but im gonna be so maggoted that i wont give a flying @#&#36%
so....enjoy:)
nb:// however i went o adelaide 2 weeks ago and at least in perth you can drink the water

If it's one question I really don't like it's the "and where do you live" question when I used to get chatted up (sheads small tear). *After a few drinks I told this guy I came from Tarronga, said with an accent by rolling the Rs, he had no idea it's a zoo and it sounds quite exotic.

I was thinking how crap the area i live in...BUT, the Hornsby shopping centre opened and WOAH!!!!  It's fucking huge!!!!  I've heard, that it's meant to be the biggest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere (it could very well be possible, because previously Castle Hill shopping centre was the biggest)

ANYWAY, there are no comedy or musik gigs here, obviously, but MASSIVE shopping area!!!  Horsby is so the place to go in Sydney now, not the city or chatties!

I'm confused DFL - maybe u did explain to me but I forgot - are u describing Glen Waverley or St Leonards?

As for 'fun' stuff near me... Adventure Park!! It's about 5 mins up the Bellarine Hwy... If u get WIN/Prime in Victoria u might see the ads...

I haven't been there since I was in Brownies, (gotta be 10 years at least), and back then, it was new, and pretty crap. But now it's got go karts and waterslides and lots more stuff than they started off with, which was basically trout fishing, and jams.

Croydon in Vic sucks.  It's got nightclubs (one or two - I think) - I've never been though.  I mean, a nightclub in such a crap place would be pretty bad, wouldn't it??  I guess it's not THAT bad though.  They've got lots of supermarkets.  And hairdressers.  And op shops.  If you came to Croydon, I'm take you Op Shop hunting!!!

There are nightclubs in Croydon?  Where?  But yes one thing Croydon does have is a lot of hairdressers .. I think I counted at least 5 or 6.  It's not THAT bad .. but I was rather happy to get out of there ..
