| MOSH Regular | Ahh this thread reminded me....in st vinnies today someone had donated a pile of old magazines (okay not so old but from last year)...in a New Weekly there was a poster of Harry Potter...nice fold out one...and a page devoted to the "pint-sized bullies who torment Harry and his friends".... Does anyone want this? No charge - I just pounced on the mag cos I thought there were a few HP fans on here who might like the poster and article. lemme know okay? | ||

I dont thing it was coincidental that harry saved ginny's life. as for the sex .. what kind of dickhead wrote the article. Unlike an american movie i was glad they actually used actors that looked like they were eleven (or actually were eleven). I did hear a rumour though that the boy who plays harry will only do so for 2 more movies. hard to speculate now though. As for the minority groups... JK Rowling seems to use alternate minority groups giants, house elves, animagi... to show unfair treatment in society... anyway thats my rant for tonite

My email should be on my profile somewhere....I think...*has no clue really*) I saw Harry Potter for the first time yesterday....omg it was better than I'd thought. That'd be why I'm frantically downloading the soundtrack as I write this. Ahh thank you audiogalaxy :p Oh hey and I'm 24 and I love it too...I'm a recent convert tho. Btw if you're interested in getting articles and stuff...there's a bit on Daniel Radcliffe/Harry Potter in That's Life magazine this week. Its one of those "loves/loathes" things so he goes on about his favourite things and the things he hates. The mag is only about $2.20 so.....yeah just letting you know that *grins*.

[/quote:post_uid0]I agree totally!!! give the christian zealots something to talk about... harry & Ron... or better still Ron & Malfoy - which sends harry into a spiral of jealousy and despair. I like the harry / Cho idea but one would hope it would take her more than a book to get over the fact that it was technically because of Harry that Cedric died. Apparently Cedric (his ghost anyway) makes a comeback in the next book. and there is supposedly a romance involving SNAPE believe it or not in book 6.

| MOSHer | Q: Is Harry Potter for grown ups? A: Yes, providing the grown-up is a sad, pathetic, nutcase. *giggle* Sorry. I don't like anything that encourages children to read. I read as a child, and look how I turned out? A lazy social phobe who believes that teddy bears and golliwogs come to life when children leave the room. When I was little I used to go to watch my brother play sport and spend the whole time reading Enid Blyton's "The Twins at St Clare's" *or "First Form at Malory Towers", whilst being ridiculed by all his friends. STAY AWAY FROM BOOKS CHILDREN!!! oh...except for Paul McDermotts...or any book that has characters named Bimbo and Topsy....or ones that rhyme. | ||
