| MOSH Regular | In America they've actually had to rounds of advanced screenings of the finished movie (with all the proper sound effects and background music - not like the preview screenings) so far. And from what I've heard it's pretty awesome. Also there is more Kaylee in the movie than the trailer suggests and Book is in it as well even though you don't see him at all in the trailer. My hope is that closer to the release date of the movie they release individual trailers for each character with some of their cool lines and actiony bits that'll tell non-Firefly fans who each character is and where they're coming from. That would be really cool. ![]() | ||

I think The Train Job is a pretty bad episode (its not horrbile, but just in comparison to Serenity and all the other episodes). My family (who all loved Buffy and Angel) really didnt get into the first episode and decided not to watch the rest of the show.

Reputation: ![]() Reputation Power: 5 | jacqfly - I'm on browncoats_downunder *waves* I'll see you there - have been too busy to post much for a couple of weeks but I keep reading anyway.I saw a test screening a few weeks ago and no - they didn't cave on the sound in space - I think they just did that on the trailer so there wouldn't be any silent moments.... there isn't much of book, but there is enough kaylee and inara to keep the boys happy - river is freaking awesome, as is EVERYTHING else, but it's not TOO much river, keyser, so don't stress.... argh. I wanna go again! sllej - I don't think the preview screenings in america would've been much more advanced than the ones we got over here, as they were only about a week later and we were told by universal that Joss had given us the very latest and greatest he could put together when we saw it - which was very nearly finished, but with a few special effects and some of the music not final - they used some bits from the show to replace it and I must say I didn't notice, if only for it being slightly familiar to me in parts. and if you weren't aware - the Australian release date has been moved forward to September 29 (which is ONE DAY before America!!! mwahahahahaa!!!) | MOSH Regular | I'm a member of browncoats_downunder too. I can't remember my username at the moment but I live in the Melbourne area. I don't know how advanced the preview screenings in America but I do know that there was another round of them just last night - 20 showings in 20 states. I've heard from a lot of people - don't worry I told them no spoilers - that there is funny little message from Joss before the movie starts. I hope they include that on the Serenity DVD. ![]()
