A dictionary? For fun? Whatever makes you think that we might be 'bookish', or 'nerdy' even, on this forum? :P

I absolutely loath OH&S and all of its legal requirements. This doesn't mean that I support deaths in the workplace, far from it. But it should be a crime to force people to study it!

I am doing a TAFE course and part of the requirements is to learn about OH&S... 5 units worth. I am on the last one... thank the gods!! I am all for boring, repetitive shit that you are forced to learn, but it must be immoral to be forced to learn this shit.

I am so eloquent at the moment. I swear it is the OH&S stuff that is pushing useful stuff out of my brain... like how to compose an understandable sentence.

Since we are speaking of OH&S, I am sure that all of you have your computer workstations setup so that it is ergonomically correct. No? Me either. Okay only a couple of questions to go, and I forget all that I learned... YAY!

Hehe, the OH&S modules were the only reason I was top of my IT (cert. II) class in highschool.
Granted, I stuffed up the HSC exam when asked actual technical questions, rather than asking for an essay on ergonomic workstartions.

I am taking the Cert II in IT. I know about 90% of the stuff in the book, but I really need the qualification. 5+ years off work being a mum doesn't make you that attractive to employers, so qualifications it is.

Now I have to get through this dang cert so I can begin looking for full time work. If anyone needs an administration wiz or know of a job going (preferably in a field that is connected to the entertainment industry), pm me.

I need a new job.

36 hours a week at a place where they don't appreciate you, you don't learn anything and just about everyone you speak to assumes you're less educated than them is NOT my idea of a good time.

So if anyone can think of a job where I can use my foreign language skills, have the flexibilty to go to uni one day a week, and actually be interested in/learn something from the work, I'd love to hear about it. Ideally, I wouldn't have to deal with customers/clients face-to-face (I know that sounds wrong, get over it).

p.s. I have triple cream french brie. Yay!
