Goddamn, I couldn't watch it so I set the video to tape it and added 10 extra minutes onto the end so I was sure to get the whole thing and I still missed the end!!!!

Fuckin' TV stations.

I added 15 minutes and still missed the end, yeah. There was a lot of CSI (I think?) at the start of the recording, but that was because there was actually only one episode last night, 11pm-11.30pm.
Still ran way overtime and it looks like the Ice Skating massacre is to blame.

The bottled water one was hilarious especially when they had the 'Water List' at the resturant and had all those American's totally fooled. Loved the reactions when they came clean and told them all the water was from the hose round the back. :lol

Ch9 seems to have gone to one episode each Tuesday instead of the double episodes. 11pm-11.30pm for tonight's episode.

And the topic for tonight's episode is CREATIONISM!

I'll leave it, since it's a link to search results. If HBO tell Google to take them down then the search results will just be random other stuff. If HBO don't have a problem then I don't have a problem.

And Ch9 are playing silly buggers with the schedule, since it wasn't on this week.
It's back next week, with the "ESP" episode. ESP is Extra-Sensory Perception, for those who don't know.

For those who don't follow every last thread, Penn & Teller: Bullshit is apparently returning next Tuesday night, 11pm-11.30pm again. Sydney and Melbourne at least. Sorry, I'm not checking everywhere.

From memory this was another episode I had some issues with the conclusions that were drawn, but I can't remember for sure.
From memory, it was very interesting, though a bit graphic in a couple of parts.

But hooray, it's back!

Yet another notification of two (possibly?) episodes of Penn & Teller being on tonight, in Sydney at least. 10.45pm to 11.45pm or thereabouts.

The episodes tonight are:
Recycling: This episode exposes the reality behind recycling, a supposedly pro-environment activity that in actuality creates pollution and has to be subsidised by the government because it's cost ineffective.

and

Profanity: Penn and Teller devote an entire episode to the cultural war on words and the power we give them. They focus on the latest actions of the FCC and other anti-profanity groups that subvert the First Amendment in their quest to clean up the airwaves.

The Recycling episode was pretty good, as far as I can recall, but may not be hippy-tree-hugger friendly. Not going to spoil it though.

The Profanity episode is a must-see, as it digs pretty deep into the issue of profanity in modern times and also includes some history of the troubles various comics have gotten into at various times for their profanity. The episode is also "famous" for being the only episode (so far?) in which neither Penn nor Teller swear during the course of the show - including renaming the show, so Penn doesn't say "Bullshit".
Great episode, everyone must watch.

Motherfuckers on Ch9 cut off two of the best parts of the Profanity episode, including the explanation of the "Santa Vaca" (spelling may be off) thing the batshit lady was saying. Idiots.

They tied the explanation in to the bit where she was saying "I swear to Buddha", because "Santa Vaca" means "Holy Cow", which makes it a jab at the Hindus, who consider cows to be holy, etc. It was funnier when P&T explained it!

Yep, it's on again tonight. 11.15pm to 11.45pm tonight, depending on when the cricket finishes I'd guess.
Feng Shui and Bottled Water is the episode tonight, which is a really good one too.
