I completely forgot about this until I was reminded a day or two ago. There's going to be a Discworld convention at the Carlton Crest Hotel and Convention Centre in Melbourne on Fri 9th to Sunday 11th February. That's less than two weeks away! The convention is called Nullus Anxietas (Latin for "no worries") and you can read all about it here: http://www.ausdwcon.org/ Terry Pratchett himself will be the main guest of honour.  Note that the prices are going to go up on Feb 2 so if you want to go and you want the cheaper tickets you pretty much have to paypal the money to them today or tomorrow. I'm considering making a Luggage costume with dozens of little legs that actually move when the costume moves about. I'm currently working on a Pong costume for a video games costume party so who knows if I'll get time to make Luggage. Let's all cross out fingers ...
