| Member | hey all, having a bit of fun with my current carrier, Revolution, which runs on the Vodafone network. Been dropping a few too many calls, loses reception in various areas, and lately is delaying the sending of text msgs. Joined them cause they were the cheapest I'd seen, but now with those probs, plus having a good phone that can use services they don't provide, i need to change. so, anyone got any recommendations? As in decently priced, work properly, offer range of services, etc. Or suggestions as to who to steer clear of? Apart from Revolution, lol! | ||

| MOSHer | i'm with AAPT. i think i remember seeing revolution starting up and decided to stick with something i'd been with for a few years. they changed their name and who runs the service, but since the change over about a year ago, i still haven't had any issues with them. i think they're pretty good for cheap rates, and if you don't actualy use your phone to make lots of long calls. my calls are usually less than 1 minute, so it works out pretty well for me. check it out here. http://www.justmobile.com.au/prepaid_rates.php | ||

| MOSH Addict | My Dad and I are with 3, but my mum is with Telstra. It really depends on what you want from the phone company. They all do plan caps now, or you can go pre-paid, just weigh up how much you use it. I've had no problems with 3.... | ||

| MOSH Regular | I'm with 3 and the only problem I've had is that sometimes when I'm at uni I lose reception for a few hours or until I turn the phone on and off again. Although I think that's more a problem with the phone (nokia) rather than the provider as other people on 3 still have reception whilst I'm having this trouble. Other than that I've found that they're really good and cheap. I'm always surprised when I open my bill that it's so low. | ||
