I saw her performance on Top of the Pops and although she didn't mime like most performers on that show do, she couldn't control her pitch and breathing and she sounded terrible - like an asthmatic chipmunk.

Oh god no not Avril Lavine. What the hell is up with that...person? oh she shits me to pieces. I had that godawful song 'sk8er boi' (she is either 'too cool' to spell it right or she doesn't know how. I'm going with the latter) stuck in my head for SO LONG and geez I almost stuck myself in the eye with a stick so I would have something less painful than that bloody song to distract myself with.

Okay well that explains a lot. I use to wear a nurses uniform and a tie over trousers in first year uni, and i sawa photo of myself from then a little while ago and well i wass bemused that i thought it looked good. Then at livid yesterday i saw like a million ties on all these little girls and i was wondering why, given my recent revelation, now I understand. Are people really that much of sheeps that they will wear a tie becuase some teenybopping manufactured wanna be skate chic does? I do love the rational of 'I will look unique and like a rebel if I dress like everyone else'

I couldn't sleep last night, so at 11:52pm I was listening to Artery on JJJ. Skewiff was just being played, but it sounded like crap so I started channel surfing. After my hate-Avril-Lavinge ridden Sunday. I said to myself, 'I bet Complicated will be playing on some brainless teeny bopper station!'

I got to FOX FM (Melbourne's station on the Austereo network and heard; "Life's like that, that's the way it is." I almost threw my stereo across the room!

You're right, but if you have a proper read of all the stuff on the website you can see that she is a pretentious little poser, who totally disregards other artists and believes she is top shit.

Here's some of the ones that really stood out for me:

If she dressed like she did, and sang songs like she does without all the arrogant and pretentious comments, I might be able to stand her. She think she's a punk, but then says things like "If I wasn't a singer, I'd be a police officer. I like having authority and I'd like walking the beat, and I'm a fighter so the crimefighting thing appeals to me." She's a walking contradiction, and that's what I really dislike her for.

If you represent yourself to the media in a certain way for a long period of time, then it's to be expected that people will get to like or dislike that image. If that's not who she really is, then fine, but she only has herself to blame. An argument could be made that someone who misrepresents themself in such a way deserves to be detested anyway.
