I was looking forwards to it, but I've been watching Sasuke (Ninja Warrior) heaps for the last couple of days, so Gladiators looks so easy now.

So glad Pyramid is still in it. It's one of the ones I thought might get dumped due to the danger... but it's still the exact same game! Massive crash tackles from a couple of levels above them and all!

What's this "Waterwall" shit at the end of the Eliminator? And why'd they put a safety rope on them as they climb the rope ladder? That should have been a sign to put something else in it's place - like having them do the flying fox off the Pyramid like they used to! Booo I say!

But at least they don't have the stupid hand bikes the US version kept in the Eliminator.
Think the Aussie version needs to add some more tiring things to it to make the travelator at the end harder too.

But overall it was a fun show, glad it's back.

I'm actually surprised a lot of the games are still in it due to the danger. Specially the Pendulum game. As if that's not high risk.

I agree about the shitty waterfall at the end of the eliminator. I also thought the ladder actually used to be a giant net made out rope. Maybe i'm wrong.

I think they increase the speed of the travelator at the end for the quarter finals, and then again for the semi finals and to super hard at the finals.

Well in the US version they struggled right from the start to get up the travelator, because their Eliminator is way more brutal. They even have a swimming pool! With FIRE on the surface. Pretty awesome.

Amen to hating on the waterwall. My only other gripe was Billy Boy pronouncing Gladiator as Gladiatorrr - it's un-Australian to say anything other than Gladiata. Such fun to have it back.

Your right the ladder did use to be a big net. I dont know why they didnt keep it it's alot more challenging than just climbing up a ladder like how hard is that.

I cant help but think some of the gladiators are abit lame. Maybe they'll grow on me as the show progresses but Vipor doing that snaky thing with her hands was a laugh and amazon. they just seem to be trying to hard with the tough attitude. I guess im comparing them to the old gladiators which i like better. oh and what a name for kouta gee wouldnt have taken lomg to come up with that one I did enjoy the show. would like to see my old favourite games next week tho. and can we get some more challenging challengers please. That sam dude was such a let down he didnt give them any challenge at all it was quick and boring. the women were tougher than him. I'm such a hard woman to please LOL

Yes, Viper gets a wee bit carried away it seems. Most of the others seemed okay. Hunter bagging his contestant for not being a challenge was pretty damn funny.
I expect Viper's antics will probably become more refined as the show goes on, assuming it doesn't get canned of course.

it was a video from a helmet cam lmao. it wasnt that good mind you just footage from the last gladiators point of view in the Gauntlet.

who watched it last night? I love it when the gladiators get in trouble and the challengers get points on default its great . Did anyone notice on the pyramid with the guys that outlaw jumped on his challenger when the challenger was on the first step? now i know from the first one that that is against the rules so im wondering why they didnt see that and i also thought on duel that amazon attacked right before the whistle actually blew but i guess they didnt notice or it doesnt matter or something. oooo and viper getting in trouble for not letting go that was good because i just cant like her.

Amazon definitely did strike before the whistle. Not sure why they didn't act on that!
I mostly like Viper because she's ridiculously cheesy. Laughing very much at her!
