I have the same problem with Rollover images. Is there a way to make the images without using layers? I really wish the help files worked

When you finish putting together the layers for an animation, go to File, and select "Save For Web"...then you can set that you want it animated, define the length of time for the frames (unfortunately you have to set the same time for all of them, so you usually have to repeat frames you want to have appear for any length of time) and whether or not it loops and stuff. You can also preview the file. I just got Photoshop Elements and I'm having fun learning how to use it too *G*

For static (non-animated) images (like the rollover images), you can select "Save a copy" instead of Save, and it should give you a bunch more formats to save the image as. Learn to use layers. Layers are your friend. ![]() But otherwise, any time it adds a layer, you could just do the "Flatten Image" thing, in the Layers menu. That'll merge all the layers together, if that's what you're after.
