Ok, I have an inbuilt microphone in my computer and I would really like to know how to turn it off.. I've tried going into sound and all that, but its not working... it's recently started to annoy me when I'm recording/listening to music because I can hear myself typing and all the rest... does anyone have any ideas? (Sorry for being so vague, my mums telling me to get off the computer so I'm kinda rushing...) Thanks

Double click the speaker in your system tray. Where the clock is. Go to Options. Properties. Adjust Volume for Recording. Check that "Microphone" has a checkmark next to it. If it doesn't, tick it. OK. Change the "Select" tick to be under something other than microphone or line-in. Wave is usually a good choice. That may or may not work... But it should be the right way to do it. :pineappl:
