I was watching the 10:00am news on Channel 10 today and they were showing newscasts from American, and none of them could see the joke.

Now I don't normally like the Chaser, but every time I see it I crack up laughing.

Not entirely accurate but still quite funny.

I wish The Daily Show was airing at the moment. Would love to see how they cover it.

After reading all the articles pretty much, listening to some talk back I think it's safe to say there are lots of people who think this is a great joke. Our federal foreign minister got the joke so it seems in his statement. There are those who disagree with the majority saying that they did a stupid, dangerous thing. They were making fun of the huge amount of security and the fact the security for three foreign leaders (I think) and staff has involved the lock down of one city for a few days. I don't have a problem with leaders protecting themselves but this joke points out the riddiculousness (?) of it.

I hope to see the footage. Will definately watch next wednesday.

GO the Chasers and I'd give you an award for this if I could or at least a pat on the back. I don't normally approve of troublemakers but it was done in the name of humour.

i imagine the courts are going to be full on the day that chas and julian are to appear, with press and fans, but i would like to go and sit in on the case to see how the magistrates takes to the joke, cause it has been pretty funny.

Description: Osama has a new video in reference to his cameo at APEC last week. Check it out.

Its great. If i remember correctly after watching the dvds from the first season they used the same footage a lot, with the words underneath and didn't realise how much it was costing to actually air because aljezzera or another channel owned the footage. So they got a lawyer or a bill, which reduced the budget they had by a lot. Towards the end of the season you see that they spend less and less on the skits. They must of thought that this warented the use of the footage again.

The Chaser boys are on the front cover of the current Rolling Stone BTW. Going purely off memory, somewhere in the 5 page article it muses on what they’ve got planned for APEC… I think one of the lads answered “we’re gunna get arrested”
