I'm scared and yet I know I won't be able to avert my eyes.

Oh! That was crap.
Utter crap.
I hate the Sonia woman.
I hate the judges. (mainly cos everytime Paul Mecurio opens his mouth I am forced to say 'My steps my way Fran, you know what I said about the dance of love not being real? well it is freal Ran, go with your heart, go with your heart')
I hate the woman doing the singing. But I like the rest of the band.

And I like John Wood, am barracking for him, might make up for all the missed Logies if he wins this.

Actually I thought John Wood did pretty well too. I found him more dignified than the other guy dancers.

I flicked the channel just in time to see Pauline Hanson's "Please Explain" moment...

You might have had less pretentious celebrities on your version.
And it probably wasn't done by Channel Seven, another bonus for you.

...but we are not stupid pooeys, so let's rejoice...

He he he... I was going to watch this, it's kind of a train-wreck thing - you know, the horror, the horror, but you have to look - but my teev made the decision for me and couldn't receive Southern Cross from 7:30 to 9:00pm. The rest of the time - fine! The rest of the channels - fine!

Should I take this as a sign?

I saw enough to think 'well, the set and the music look and sound VERY familiar'. Fortunately not when xenophobe was on, would have hurled stuff at the tv. It's bad enough when most of the people you work with keep saying 'If she was running I would vote for her'* without seeing her cat-like face all over the screen.

Is it a bit weird, though, to be taking spiritual guidance from the teev?

is it wrong for me to say that daryl is looking rather good for his age?

Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.
