U is for umbilical By Liam Houlihan November 25, 2004 Herald Sun CAN a Wiggle do this? Manic stand-up duo the Umbilical Brothers are trying to break into the lucrative children's entertainment market with a Sesame Street spin-off. David Collins ("the one with the long wavy hair") and Shane Dundas ("not the one with the long wavy hair") are filming a pilot for US television that will feature a "conglomeration of all the Sesame Street characters". Their aim is to discover a humour that's enjoyable to both children and adults. Their alignment with the world-famous puppets of Sesame Street will see them enter an elite club. They will join the likes of Gene Kelly, Kofi Annan, Cindy Crawford and Johnny Cash, who have appeared on TV perched next to the alphabet-mad American critters. | ||

Someone swore to me the other day the the Umbilical Dave was the same as the producer Dave. | ||
