I'd hardly call Merrick and Rosso the saving grace.
Actually, I can't even recall if I was still watching when they were on... my opinion is based purely on the fact that I despise 98% of their comedy.

I was pleased to see Chris Lilley's Ja'ime make an appearance. It would have been amusing to see the reactions of the audience unaware of We Can Be Heroes.

All together, this was one of the worst ARIA's I've watched in years...although I missed last years, so that could be why. The only real highlight was the suprise rendition of Better be Home Soon after the Paul Hester tribute. Ah, so mushy.
