Yeah Fudge makes blood red dye.  I had big chunks of it a few years ago.  Unfortunately it was only a semi permanent job, and it washed out after about 7 days, and became a nice pinky colour...  It does work on blonde hair *grins*... I have some purple fudge that i want to use, but it's permanent, and if i use it, people are less likely to want to for a position when i go job hunting... why are jobs so shit??

I always bleach my hair and then use Fudge. I'm going for jobs in independent record shops in Brunswick Street, Melbourne. For managers there, it's like a neccessity.

i can happily say that i have dyed my hair every single colour imaginable(umm hang on- not grey, well, not yet)- yes, vomit green has occurred (although, it wasnt planned-but still looked kinda funky in a way)
my job allows it, coz im not seen that often , so it doesnt really matter whether i turn up with bright pink and blue hair (its that now.. kinda looks silly *yay for clowns* )
im changing it back to blonde next week.. my mums a bit worried that my grandfather wont understand my hairdying fetish
good luck with the blood red hair D_B!

Well here's what I've decided to do.
I have to get some chopped off to get rid of the split ends (i'm going to be so depressed next week...each centimetre of hair I lose is like a mini-death!) then I'll get it died the normal dark colour and have what is called a 'tonal blast' which means just the ends wil be died a different colour. So it's going to be bright red in the last 3 or 4 inches of hair. groovy.

I am so way too attatched to my hair in many ways.

I was trying to find this topic again, but couldn't remember what it was under, lol... prolly cos the topic we're on now has nothing to do with Wil Anderson, but oh well!

Your hair should look interesting though!

Comment: Poor thing.

Um...hoarlargalagh, I love Wil's hair.

Isn't it nice that we've managed to stay true to the topic of an interview with Wil Anderson? We're good like that.

Actually, sorry, but I want to change the topic again back to our own heads of hair!! (Only just managed to catch up with all the posts).

Well, I have natural black hair right..but I want a Honkee cut, dyed a nice red...and just in gen look like the many of the international students at uni *sigh* I'm SUCH a international student wannabe - they have the best stuff, clothes, accessories, bags etc...omg...I'm not even ashamed to admit it!

But I'm worried about regrowth. So I was wondering, when I'm sick of it and want to dye my entire head back to black again, will it just look FAKE black? Like...dunno if you guys know what I mean...but yeh...that black that is TOO black.

Is there such a thing as TOO black? Just as long it does'nt look too oily or greasy it should be fine.

In our own special way we are still talking about Wil because he does die his hair a fair bit and has been known to die it a different colour every week, so you know, the topic name is still relivant (in its own way).

I got my hair cut yesterday

I actually cut it myself on Saturday night and mum went totally spaz and took me to the hairdressers on Sunday to 'fix it'.

Now it's really really really short *yay* and the next thing I have to do is to dye it.

WELL
After spending THREE AND A HALF FSTARKING HOURS in the hairdressing chair on Saturday (if I'd known it would take that long i would have enployed one of my friends (ppft) to do it) I have learnt a very valuable lesson:
do not trust hairdressers. they wil not listen to you they wil just experiment with your hair in whatever way they want.

Just because i'm not entirely sure that last sentence made sense, doesn't mean i'm not very very angry.

I told the silly wench what i wanted her to do and she went and screwed up my hair! She dyed the ends BLONDE for gods sake. Then when I told her I wanted the usual dark brown with a *hint of red* she dyed my entire head of hair the colour of wrinkly scabby week-old tomatoes.

I'm very very angry.

Grr.

Why do hairdressers never understand simple instructions? The last cut I got made me end up looking like a demented newsreader for about 3 months before it grew to a decent length!

Anyways, I'm really bored of my hair, what colour should I dye it, any suggestions?

Yes!! I'm never happy with my hairdressers right, so everytime I get my hair done, I change shops.

I told this woman once that I wanted a "light fringe" and EMPHASISED that I didn't want a thick fringe like primary school kids have. She gave me one of those goddamn things and thank god for hairclips, otherwise I would have worn a hat until it grew out.

Another time, I insisted the cut was too long and she was lazy and she refused to do it again.

And the whole "produce a picture thing" doesn't help either...b/c they will either say
1. "it doesn't suit your face" (and I'm sure I have some common judgement to know what would suit and what wouldn't)
2. "your hair is not the right texture for that style" - they are just too lazy to cut it b/c it's complicated. (It was a picture of this Asian actress, and I'm Asian, and I'm sure my hair would be of similar texture and feeling).

Hairdressers need some discipline training!

*ends rant* phew!
