Pair back for a laugh
The Umbilical Brothers: Speedmouse at Arts, theatre, October 5 and 8 to 12.
HI-OCTANE Aussie comedy duo The Umbilical Brothersncan't dance.
Their first CD Don't Dance To This is encouraging many other people not to try it.
"Well, we're not singers but we have been overseas and we are Australian so it is bound to be a massive hit," David Collins (the one with the curly hair) said.
It has been nominated for an ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release.
David Collins and Shane Dundas (the bald one) already are top of the pops in comedy, having won the MO Award for Best Australian Comedy Group for the past five years.
"We have embarrasses ourselves on an international scale, everywhere from Japan, Europe, South Africa, South America to New york where our show Thwack ran for a year in 1999," Collins said. "Now we've brought our latest show Speedmouse back to Adelaide and we're ready for anything and certainly hope that the audience is, too."
Speedmouse had a brief sellout stint at the 2002 Adelaide Fringe but has developed considerably since then.
