I read this in today's Sunday Herald Sun's TV Extra (Melbourne) OMG!!
~Reality Rose~
Two specials on Rose Porteous (pictured) to screen next month have everyone talking.
Appearing on
Sandman: Speed Of Doubt, a Network Ten show featuring comedian Stephen Abbott (aka The Sandman), Porteous was in outrageous form. She invites The Sandman into her home and proceeds to wash his hair.
As she leans over the comedian who has his head over a bowl, Porteous quips: "I could actually drown you now, you know, and then I'd be in for a second inquest."
A highly publicised inquest cleared Porteous in April of any implication in the death of her husband, mining magnate Lang Hancock. In the special, she also invites The Sandman into her main bedroom, which she says has no one in it "except when I turn the mattress around to change husbands."
The Sandman is treated to Porteous' piano skills, where she informs him her favourite song is "shame and scandal in the family, woe is me". He then asks if she does comedy. "In every coutroom in Australia," she replies.
The one-hour Nine special is a fly-on-the-wall, warts-and-all reaity TV show with the working title
Rose Unscripted.
