If you listen to JJJ and watch GH and read his cosmo articles, you'll recognise bits, but even when he's practically quoting his cosmo article about bikini waxing verbatim, it's still funny to watch him actually saying it. He has a good performance style, and seeing the material live really does bring it to life. The genuinely brand new material is good...a bit of personal stuff, some general cultural things, a LOT of parent bashing (hysterical when you know his parents are actually in the crowd and he's impersonating his mother and swearing a lot *eg*) and some pretty impressive political stuff. Wil is one of the few comedians who can take you from laughing really hard at something, to sitting there going "hmm" and nodding in agreement with what he's saying. Him and Fleety, I think would be my top two thought-provoking comedians *G* But yeah, the show is worth catching...he's let go of "can't use the atm, don't like the new technology...but you put them in front of a poker machine!" and Steve Irwin jokes, and Burgo's Catchphrase, and "how my breast implants saved my life", to our great relief *g* and he's come up with some excellent new material. I'd say the show will develop more before it comes to comfest, he confessed on Friday that he'd only just written some of the material he did that night for and during the preview shows.

| MOSH Elite | i think they misquoted him in a bit the part where they say he was a slut before falling in love. he may not be a *slut* in the relationship term, but does count for being a media slut as well? | ||

| MOSH Addict | i dont' know if he kept it in the show, but they could be referring to where he talks about his meeting a chick in the bathroom, and basically telling her that they didn't need to be introduced because the sister was never going to see this chick again. | ||

The only thing that really shitted me was the fact that this woman, with her boobs hanging out, was convinced that Wil was in love with her so she kept trying to be part of the show and talking about her cats, which wore very thin, quite quickly! But thankfully, He ran with it and said some very funny things about freaky cat ladies ![]() Good Job Willus! :thumbs-u: ![]()

*start of blatent plug* You know, you could always write your own review and post it on the (NEW) message board on my site. I'm trying to get a collection together of fan reviews (cos this way the reviews are more likely to be of a different night of the show). All I want is your opinion of the show, of the jokes used, how well the material flowed... stuff like that. And yes, you can mention little "incidents" on the night... just as long as you come up with a verdict of the show *g* Just go here *end blatent plug*

Everyone should see it, even if you dont like him, because he's the type of comedian that does leave you thinking, he spoke about politics and ended up sounding like he was giving an all out anti-war speech! Go see it.. really.. go!
