Any one else get the feeling that Mr M may still be tied to Ten by some old GNW contract clause... maybe maybe could be could be?

Or maybe someone there's just suddenly taking a new shining to the li†tle short man?

Definately not. Paul was very weary about going to a commercial channel and i really dont think that he would have signed anything that could drag him into doing something that he didnt want to. Especially after watching Tim.

I think hes just made good contacts, who are happy with his work.

I'm surprised it doesn't say "her brave battle with cancer" or mention how courageous she is and so on.
Belinda's a lovely girl but she's not brave because she has cancer and is fighting against it, she's just doing what she has to do. Lots more people have been a lot sicker than her with cancer and haven't ever been mentioned in the paper for their efforts.

Maybe they've realised that Rove isn't as good as he used to be, and they need the master back

Article in the Sunday telegraph

Found this in the sunday telegraph today. It looks like Paul is hosting that sex quiz thingy.

Secret Life of Viewers
Tv examines sex lives

By entertainment writer, KATHY McCABE

The huge successof the nine network's national IQ test has sparked a battle among networks to examine our sex lives. Last November, Foxtel announced it would broadcast Am I Good In Bed?, a sex survey based on a British format.
The live "test", to be hosted by Paul McDermott, is expected to air in March on top-rating pay channel FOX8. And the Ten Network has rushed Australia Between The Sheets- The National Sex Survey into production to kick off its 2003 ratings bit tomorrow night.
Hosted by Big Brother's Gretel Killeen, the taped show has interviews and discussions based on a survey the network commissioned.
Nine plans to follow the National IQ test- which was Australia's top-rating show last year- with interactive tests of our driving skills and memory.
Foxtel head of production Kim Vecera said Ten's program would be the "entree" to FOZ8's "main course".
"Ours will be live with 250 people in the studio from every state and viewers able to participate via SMS and a wesite over more then 2 hours." she said.
"The show will be a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the sexual proclivities of Australians- and the viewers will had alot of fun."
Killeen said Network Ten has commissioned Audience Development Australia to conduct the sex survey for Between The Sheets.
"We want to look at the truth of Austalian sexual behaviour by talking to the experts and to a wide range of people of various ages and socio economic backgrounds," she said.
"It was recorded on Friday night for Monday night's broadcast."
A Ten source said the interactive reality test has been "on the cards for a while".
"Obviously, there have been similar shows on different subjects that have done very well, the source said.
"These tests do make very good television."

There was a small picture with it ive seen somewhere before. Ive attatched it if ya wanna see.

am i good in bed?

there is a very small column thing in todays sydney morning hearld tv guide...
its on the tuesday page, under pay tv highlights

Am I Good In Bed?
FOX8, 7.30pm

Paul McDermott plans some fun as he conducts the Ultimate Sex Test with a studio audience of 220 men and women facing 25 questions which viewers may also answer on the net (www.amigoodinbed.com.au). Serious results anticipated, despite cheeky interruptions from McDermott and friends.

there is also a cute pic of him reading a book about kamasutra.

Stuff that's fun.... number 1: that!

Paul's Big Issue

A nice surprise this week was to find a feature article on Paul McDermott in The Big Issue (the one with Buffy on the cover). It's one of those "What are you reading at the moment?" type interviews. Copies are $3 from your local Big Issue vendor.

for three bucks it is a great read... it's a great read anyway actually

and i think it's only on the streets of melbourne, sydney, adelaide (no surprise) and i think brisvegas
